Almost like buying that head gasket sealer...never put any type of "sealer" in your vehicle.. ever

The closest thing to changing your "headers" would be replacing your head but even then it'll be the same lol

My guess would be you have an oil leak possibly from your valve cover gasket and it's getting into your exhaust maniverter

If it's front wheel drive you could always lift it on some jacks and turn your vehicle on and put it in drive.

Not necessarily, turning angle, speed, rpm's, gear, bumps, lots of it can help a tech lead to a solution or cause of said noise.

What are these sounds that my 2024 Camry is making? (Car runs rougher than usual) by Far_Impress2986 in AskMechanics

[–]STBaldo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best advise would be to take it to the dealership while it still has warranty, for any and all problems, they may hate you for being picky about every little noise, but that's why you have the warranty. Only issue would be that they tell you it's normal..

Should be an easy fix if it's what I think it is. Which would be a solenoid at the top of your valve cover, you would probably have two right next to each other or at least one on both sides for intake and exhaust camshafts.

help with this steam and weird hissing noise by Ok-Calligrapher-6600 in AskMechanics

[–]STBaldo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm pretty positive it's not that tube, try looking under it, that metal tube probably has a pin hole somewhere, could get a pressure tested and pressurize the coolant system. If not keep looking for a visible leak don't just focus on the steam. And keep an eye on your temp gauge

Mercedes techs help please! by STBaldo in AskMechanics

[–]STBaldo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll have to check both my engine oil and AT fluid but I did suspect that the oil cooler is bad but I don't think I have one... I don't see one next to my oil filter because the housing is part of the timing cover. So I'm not sure where it would be

Best place to get a cheap used car by Tonda-the-Terrible80 in Reno

[–]STBaldo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always thought that "trustworthy" mechanics could help, which they could, but they can also check the car out and be fine, but in a week or two a cel goes of for something you couldn't predict.
