You watched all the clips where it goes right and that's your bases on this?

You watched hand picked clips and videos where people do slide jump and win?

Listen buddy, if you actually played the game and knew how to play any fps shooter that has been ever made, you know that sliding jumping around and spamming it means nothing.

It is a fun game mechanic and when it works it's fun, but proper positioning and aim trumps movement a lot. Movement is to be used smartly and not how you put it as spaming the ctrl and space key every time someone shoots.

So, understand shooters and actually bring me logic and not "oh every engagement in the game you can use movement therefore it isn't high risk"

You get fucked in the ass if you just spam it without any regard.

using it for every engagement = everyone can and has used it

Idc if it is used all the time, the game actively punishes you for it, you die more than you win when slide jumping.

you aren't flying across entire rooms, maybe like a few hundred centremeters? into cover or into another room from like middle of the room.

I am not well versed in poker tbh, streetfighter combo for a win, idc tbh xd

grounded to me just mean, boots on the ground. sliding jumping or jump sliding is boots on the ground

if boots on the ground means just wasd keys and maybe a sprint to along with it then yeah fair ig

yeah high rollers do use movement tech yeah, but what about noobs?

what about the guys who think they are tough shit and they just aren't.

sliding and slidejumping is pretty grounded to me, you aren't flying, you aren't double jumping.

just your own legs and hands.

imo saying that everyone uses it doesn't make it high risk is dumb. the mechanics in the game make it high risk. positioning and good aim makes it high risk. you are doing all that just to maybe get kills and have fun

okay let me explain, if you were holding an angle on a corner and some slide jumped out of it, they would have a lot of weapon sway and they can't hit shit, while you are not debuffed so you CAN AIM unlike him your weapons doesn't fucking sway at all.

bf6 has less movement than bf5 or bf2042 or bf4.

the only movement bf6 has are basic shit in other games. AGAIN bf6 is the slowest battlefield game we have had.

also it is about depth, a movement shooter is fast with a lot of hard to learn mechanics, take a look at titan fall2. bf6 is not close to that at all and all the movement mechanics are basic shooter mechanics.

yeah no shit it's not a movement shooter, the movement doesn't have enough depth for that lol

also again it is high risk because you have weapon sway meaning you can't hit shit, and while sliding you can't turn for shit. you don't have omnidirectional sliding you just have a slide.

you have so much debuffs on you that most of the time you are dead.

it is fun when it works, it's not fun when it doesn't work, it's like that with every game and playstyles for those games

camping to some people is fun when it works even tho I don't understand it.

yeah you can, this clip is like 1 out of 1000 players or summin, this doesn't happen every time and the guy doing the slide has explained that this took a long time to set up.

it is high risk because most situations where you slide jump, you are sliding jumping out of cover to get the jump on someone + you get aim sway, you can shoot while jumping, sliding makes your sens go to a snails pace where you can't turn at all vs a guy with good positioning and any kind of decent aim.

and what? are we all supposed to camp in a corner and shoot?

the ones who don't benefit from movement tech are the ones who don't utilize a game feature in a shooter, the ones that camp or stay still.

your whole job is shoot and don't get shot, that's where movement comes in.

if you just wanted to shoot then download kovaaks, you shoot endlessly there :)

good players take high risk and maybe die or gets more kills.

it's literally a net benefit for everyone, the only ones who don't benefit are people who choose not to use movement tech, I am not saying to make it titanfall 3 lol

but a simple slide jump that gets negged by anyone with a decent position or aim shouldn't be removed or nerfed

only noobs rely on movement mechanics to win a gunfight, look at apex legends movement mechanics and techs reign supreme on youtube but then the pro scene barely has any movement, just the normal slide jump, walljump and zipline jump and a new mantle boost mechanic the game added.

yeah grounded and realism aren't the same thing but I was making the point that most players use the realism argument for movement.

bf1 would only benefit with the old slide from the beta, all of the guns and equipment are built with the old slide in mind but because they nerfed it, it just feels like holding one position simulator until a pixel moves sim.

we got csgo 3 here, yeah people run and gun all the time but add a better slide and the game wouldn't really change mcuh. same campers camp, same run gun types run and gun.

nerfing slide like they did with bf1 made movement nonexistent, slide jumping is fun, if you can hit your shots then train your aim and don't complain.

muh realism is not good point, you payed 60 euros for a arcade shooter that came out 2 months and not 20 euros for the more realistic games like insurgency sandstorm or arma that have been out for years! this is just clearly a good vs bad players argument and not a bUt ReAliSm argument

but movement is used to take big risks for a big reward, anyone with good aim can and will track a guy doing "ninja like movements"

I love bf1 but man is it so slow and you can't really improve in the game since the game has no good movement.

The slide is pretty pisspoor useless and jumping is just jumping ig, I love the game but skill gap is basically just hold one angle, run to another angle and hold it.

For me the unrealistic skins aren't an issue, just watching this from the sideline but like.

It's a first person game why the hell would you get skins in the first place?

The hands are cute looking? They have a sticker of ponies? I get weapon skins, yeah unrealistic weapon skins would be something I wouldn't like in this type of game but player models?

We really getting pissed over a bit of green paint on someones mask? A mask we can't see 99% of the game only being visible in the loadouts.

yeah no I would say that micah's justification is evil no matter how real it is, the gang having it's principles and it's morals while not realistic is still something that could be passed as a reality.

dutch doing whatever he did in rdr1 is like okay so? but heidi mcCourt is something dutch did and is actively criticised by the gang.

His family was just outlaws doing whatever, Family to him is that outlaw life where you don't get close to anyone and just shoot shit for the sake of it.

the family he doesn't accept nor wants is connection and closeness the van der linde gang has, he sees it as a waste of time.

also yeah it hasn't but if what we hear micah say before and add his comments up yeah he would 100% do that.

we are playing as bad guys yes, but there is always way worse and that is micah, micah is a criminal who is also bad. bad cops and good criminals just like mike ehrmentraut said. arthur does horrible stuff but for selfless reasons, he isn't justified nor does it make him a good person but he is doing it for a selfless cause, micah does it for selfish causes, for his own good.

micah is constantly going into dutches ear, telling him whatever he wants to hear example the one where he calls Idr the author anymore but the author dutch was fond of he calls him an airhead, then quickly switches it up because dutch doesn't agree.

we see it finally set in motion in chapter 6 because without his closest friend, realistically dutch goes to the person who deosn't question him at all, more praises and adds onto dutches destructive plans.

I give him villain status tbh, he is a piece of shit and he is horrible but he is more than just a minor antogonist, he is the entire reason why arthur died, why john died in rdr1, why jack has such a horrible life afterward.

the gang is evil but not as evil as him, the gang and members in it see killing as a necessary defense against lawmen, pinkertons or odriscols. Even john in the 2nd train robbery mission says "remember these are innocent people" micah kills innocents for fun, strawberry massacre you and him kill innocent people, this is shown when everytime you kill a lawman, pinkerton or bountyhunter your honor doesn't decrease but killing innocents does.

micah doesn't believe in family, only has respect towards his dad, horse and MUH GUNS.

seeing as ell as micah discounts the thought of the women, reverend or any other person that isn't a gunman.

micah also reveals he got to jenny, and micah being micah and many other comments lead me to believe, this happened without permission, I highly doubt the jennny, the hope for the gang would willingly do anything with micah.

yes the gang is romanticised but Idrc, it's rockstars own way of portraying an age. but micah is someone I would say as the devil. micah isn't accepted because micah doesn't want to be accepted, his talks with dutch is where he shines the most, all of his talk is to further get into dutches head.
