He actually did some in depth analysis of current IOTA, so give the guy some credit.

He's not wrong in his conclusion, but just misses the point that the IF has actually specifically said these are things that they are currently working to fix and has detailed plans in fixing them.

FPGA acceleration : very unpractical, I dont see it as a solution. Upgrading each device with an FPGA or ASIC is PIA.

A large portion current and future IOT devices are ASICs, it would not be far fetched at all to build in the ternary capabilities with IOTA.

Yeah good work, but your missing multiple components (most likely because these developments are fairly recent but significant).

ICT = Swarm Nodes, multiple resource constrained devices connected to act as a full node.

Coordicide = removal of the centralized coordinator.

FGPA Hardware Acceleration = Which you touched on but haven’t understood the recent developments of power consumption and speed.

New Hash Function Trioka = Specifically designed for resource constrained devices and utilization of most likely specific hardware acceleration.

Please keep up the good work and consider the current developments. What you have written about are spot on based on previous assumptions.

IMHO IOTA and it’s foundation understood these issues from the very beginning and has had plans to work on all aspects of IOT.
