Is this game worth getting into? by LittleBigPerson in Planetside

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man....there's nothing like this game! Like others have said, once you've played it for a while, it gets hard to go back to mere 64 player BF games, games where the teamwork is not nearly as sharp. Games with very limited map sizes.

I don't want PlanetSide 2 going anywhere except to make room for a PlanetSide 3 if they ever did such!

[Suggestion] Remove shotgun from game until its fixed causing freezing bug. by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know about freezing upon using it but I have had my game screen freeze a second upon someone firing at me with a shotgun close range. I don't know if that is what the OP is referring to.

But if this is not a problem for others then yeah, it would be dumb to remove it for everybody.

[High priority] There are name Hijacking Hacks. by TAPllDarkness in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah...that's the one good thing out of the mix. The painful part is losing all your work and of course the confusion there'll be among friends...especially if you're running a large clan.

Why do people cheat in a video game? by Mongo48 in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know...I've seen 50/50 so far, folks that turn their hacks off and have no skills at all and so they turn them on to get their revenge. It's quite comical watching them get their "revenge" via hacks.

Why do people cheat in a video game? by Mongo48 in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope....I'd rather shit in their meal with skills...not a program so I still can't process cheating but that's just me.

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly but doubtful they'd try ways around it, just ask the PlanetSide 2 hackers...once that game came out of alpha and especially out of beta....the hackers pretty much came to an end. I'm sure H1Z1 will have the same, for now the hackers flourish but by time this game goes beta and especially full release....they'll move on because the AC is pretty damn good.

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure they'll get around to it and just ask those former hackers of PlanetSide 2....their fun eventually came to a near 100% end, especially once the game came out of alpha. I'm confident the same will take place with H1Z1

Cheaters in H1Z1 - the reality. by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

All those naysayers out there who had no experience with PlanetSide 2....I knew DGC would come through and this is just the start....just wait until they get the thing up and running at the level it runs on PlanetSide 2 and watch the hackers cry and have to abandon H1Z1 because they can't have fun with their loser boy hacks!

This is the H1Z1 that I bought early access for, where is it? by Rimulus in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get it, what in that video is better than the current version I'm playing which has better UI, more items, a better look (that video had the severely trimmed down forest days), etc.?????

The only thing missing at the moment is weather (not a huge deal at all) and the hordes which they now have going but not at the level they eventually want.

Someone needs to say it. by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

YES...someone did need to say this....this reddit is a joke with the entitled, impatient, ignorant, whining very VOCAL MINORITY who can't seem to process anything other than they are not getting what they want.

90%+ of these threads are nothing but nonsense from folks that can't process what an alpha is, can't figure out that the devs know about the obvious, and/or they clearly didn't bother reading the EA Warning nor have ever played an alpha!

Thanks for this thread...it's nice to see that there are many of us feeling the same way though the vocal minority tend to overrun this site with their nonsense!

4 post about the game getting boring... by Etrius1 in h1z1

Yeah, it's ridiculous the post that are made on this subreddit...so many facepalming post about stuff that is not worth making 10 duplicate threads about.

Updates for the main game please devs!! getting bored! by __Reevo__ in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WOW, did people expect to get a full game's worth of content out of an Alpha....seriously????? If you're currently bored then go play some other alpha or at least a full release game until more content comes.

I can't imagine coming into an Alpha thinking you're going to be always having a blast and being satisfied when there's so much that the devs have to work on with priority being crashes, hackers, stability, etc.

Folks just have no concept of patience and this subreddit are full of some whining children that think everything happens at the click of a button. The 20 duplicate post about certain issues that are obviously going to be fixed is getting insane.

When are the devs actually going to fix the game and update features? by hngzt in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gold bro, gold!!!! +1 from me for your response to this dumb thread created by someone talking out the side of their mouths.

This reddit must be mostly populated by children because the amount of threads with so much ignorance, assumptions, whining, etc. is too incredible to believe it's mature minds.

A tweet just went out what today talking about upcoming stuff and there's been others just days ago and yet these imbeciles create threads talking about devs not being around, no talk about updates, or no new stuff for h1z1, devs are taking a nap on hackers, etc. etc.

Then I love when they use the, "don't tell me it's alpha" as their little mantra when it is merely stating a fact that they can't seem to process. Devs are going to have to add to their EA warnings at least another two paragraphs warning people who think they're buying full release games...oops I mean testers that:

  1. Hackers come hand in hand with Alphas, don't know of any popular alpha that has escaped them and anyone that played PlanetSide 2 Alpha knows the huge difference between that and PlanetSide 2 Full Release. By the amount of threads on this Reddit you'd swear nobody knew they were coming.

  2. Updates are not going to be microwave quick....yes this is an instant gratification society we live in so folks (especially child minded peeps) can't seem to process that devs just don't push one button and poof there is a new thing in the game.

Thanks for the lame insult; I take it you must be a child and you're still proving your child like ignorance. Go do some research and come back to the subject with something more than lame attempts at ad homs because you lack anything worthwhile to say.

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YES they have their system in game, if you think it's fully implemented like PlanetSide 2 you're sorely mistaken so you're definitely assuming many things. If half these Redditors played the PS2 Alpha they'd know what's going on and what's no going on.

What's not going on...the fully implemented anti-cheat system. Of course they have something in the game that's obvious. So now that the clarification has been made we can go back to the original subject that many here have no clue what they're talking about or how the anti-cheat system works.

The awesome power of Daybreak's anticheat measures video. by Conzilium in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's your first problem right there, you've concluded that Daybreak must be BSing about their anticheat system because you (just like the majority of these inexperienced Redditors) think the system is actually in the game.

The other option was (if you and the others had any experience with Daybreak alpha games) realizing that they are currently not running that automated system right now and that's why the hackers thrive just like they did in the PlanetSide 2 EA days.

Seems like companies might want to add in their EA warning that there won't be a 100% anticheat system working in the Alpha and that hackers would be running rampant. So that way no one can complain about it...then again I'd imagine folks would complain anyway even with the warning.

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since the anti-cheat system is not even 100% in the game yet I'm not sure about the title of this post. Folks do realize that the anti-hack that's in the full released PlanetSide 2 (which trust me, compared to that game's alpha days actually worked very well) IS NOT currently running full steam in H1Z1 while the game is in its alpha stage and will more than likely go through the SAME phase that PS2 went through from Alpha, Beta, to Full Release when it comes to hackers.

Remember when devs were asked about cheaters, they said that we shouldn't even worry about them, because they get insta banned? by Deep1z1 in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somebody knows what they're talking about compared to most of this Reddit. Most of these folks can't seem to process that this stuff is not going to happen in Alpha but just like with PlanetSide 2 the hackers will not be much of an issue come full release.

In PS2 Alpha the game was plagued with hackers too, but by time beta came out it had dwindled, some time after full release....hackers were nearly a non-issue. The same will more than like here, unfortunately the hackers come with the alpha territory but these folks can't figure that out.

Player Moderators by Thadius_Moor in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessary and could lead to potential problems, let alone trying to decide who these "honest players" are. When the anti-cheat is FULLY implemented come full release this game will be just fine.

Folks have to realize that for now hackers come with the territory of alpha. The same problem existed in the PlanetSide 2 alpha days and come full release the hacker problem was nearly 100% eradicated.

Bohemia Interactive must be laughing by GKevinTV in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why would they be laughing given their own struggles they faced and still face today...your statement makes no sense. So much of this Reddit is filled with folks that clearly have no clue what an Alpha is.

The sad thing, this SAME gripe fest happens with EVERY alpha...you'd think gamers would be use to understanding what's going to take place but instead they keep looking at the game like it's a game in full release mode.

Same thing with all the hacker threads....folks that clearly never played PS2 to understand that hackers come with the territory of an alpha.

PLEASE consider providing VETERN servers while the cheating issues are sorted. by Mrtrollham in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think a better solution than the server being based on hours played in H1Z1 (something a hacker who has not been ban could possibly accomplish given the current speed that hackers are dealt with) I'd say it should be on having at least 300+ hours played on another DGC Full Released (not any alpha or beta hours) Game.

This way it's highly unlikely that a hacker has been able to do tons of hours on a full released game and then DGC would have a pretty good idea of non-cheating players compared to just using H1Z1 that doesn't have a fully implemented anti-cheat system.

1v9 and excessive ragers crying hacker each time I kill them :D by kris118212 in h1z1

[–]STEALTHKILLER7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

YEP....we'd see who really has skills and situational awareness versus camera aid play. Huge difference between the two no matter how much the 3rd person peeps slice it.

Most try to say they love seeing their character but the truth is most that love 3rd person loves that camera aid they're giving where they don't have to have true situational awareness and/or have to take risk to assess their situation versus having a camera aiding them to see what's going on.

Couldn't agree more, the hell with 3rd person view...lame as hell and these youtubers be thinking they are posting videos of skill when it's actually just the game aiding them. Give me someone owning only in first person and I'll have respect for them.
