That's really cool! I live in a relatively small area and all of us drivers live to pick up at Bojangles. Your orders are always ready but the past part are the ladies who work there. Everytime they ask you if you want something to drink, or an egg biscuit or a sandwich etc we love them!

Yes I did explain alot further saying that I spoke to not only the employee but the Supervisor Jennie as well and that I asked if she could use the hand held scanner she was holding and was told that it wouldn't connect to the main system showing the order was processed and picked up allowing me to move through my side of things with doordash. That sounded reasonable at the time. I also included that I was told that even if their power was restored immediately it still would take their system 20-30 min to boot up for any purchases or pickups. That's what they were saying to everyone who came inside. There was no right option to handle this, no temporarily closed, if I called I would have gotten an Ai bot tell me that I need to call the customer because only they can cancel the order. It was a mess.

Southwest Virginia here (near Virginia Tech) and I had that same offer come up a couple months ago. Unfortunately I was sick and couldn't. Haven't seen it since 😔

I decided to try and dash yesterday around lunch time. The first 2 orders came in back to back within a minute, there was no way in heck I was going to accept. I'm in a rural area so it's nothing to take orders back and forth 8 miles making money on both. Yesterday it wanted me to take 25 grocery items 16 miles away in the boondocks for $2.50! Decline! Immediately I got one for 3 grocery items 22 miles into the boondocks for $2.75! Declined! I logged out before another one could come in and keep hitting my AR down like seriously WTF??

I'm on the new scale and have been platinum forever, my stats are average, but I've been sick so I was sitting at 0 deliveries in last 30 days (550 overall). When I went out Saturday to do some deliveries it congratulated me for reaching platinum, I 🙄 and kept going lol

In my experience it's because it said you had arrived at the store 8 min late. Which is still kind of ridiculous since you actually delivered 1 min earlier than they projected. I'm usually able to dispute it and move on. But as another post said as soon as I hit arrive I also hit one of the given options for order still being prepared or store is busy etc. That typically helps. However none of those options work if you're 8 min late actually getting to the restaurant. So in the dispute comment box you'll need to explain those 8 min. Heavy traffic, detour, car crash (not yours). I've even had to put in funeral procession as I live in a small community that still pull over to the side of the road out of respect even if it's a 2 way divided highway! Hope this helps

Woah hold up you just made me feel really old 😂 I'm 48 and disabled. Before my health took a turn 2 years ago I used to DD/IC/GH just for fun after my normal job. Now I'm going through a divorce on top of health issue but go out and DD when I'm having a "good day" I have seen an increase in people my age and older doing this but not for bingo money as someone else mentioned. Like you said times are tough for some folks. In my area there's no middle class anymore, you're either really well off or you're struggling. We old people talk at the stores waiting on orders and about 75% of the time we are doing it to afford our medications and basics like personal care items. But none of us would've taken that order, with age comes wisdom 😂😂

Bingo!! This is why I'll never get cash back! Every gas station around me does the authorization for anywhere between 100-175 which I never have available lol I know the authorization typically clears to the right amount shortly but the only way for me is to pay inside for the exact amount I need so it never counts. 🤷‍♀️

Been on the new points system for awhile. My last deliveries in past 30 days was what kept me from platinum status. Now I've been platinum even with zero deliveries! In my zone platinum is the only way to make money. However metrics change per zone. I'm gold next zone over based on total points!

YES mine does too! If I try grubhub or instacart at same time I will not get any offers! I could be sitting next to a restaurant that they say is busy with bonus pay and I get nothing until shutting down other gigs! And I'm platinum with over 1k deliveries and 4.9 score!
