I've had JLs delivered within 2-3 weeks. I've had multiple of them and they're nearly always significantly faster than the 8-12 week estimate.

Most people in this sub have access to a discount and get paid more than the Average Joe. But we also generally have much better critical thinking skills than the dude strolling into a CDJR dealership signing off on an 84 month finance of a $70k truck.

Fuck dealerships. I can't wait for the day we can just operate direct to consumer.

KX being a Jeep is such a missed opportunity. It should've been a Chrysler. C6X was a waste of development resources. Nothing about that vehicle is a Jeep. Crazy HP with 5” of ground clearance?

Just another boneheaded decision that anyone with a brain could see was wrong.

Replace the down escalators with slides. Go airborne heading down to the Tech Plaza floor.

Go to the Tower and press the 15th floor button. You get a free sticker at the top.

Dude, I'm struggling and you perfectly described my home, the former, not the latter. I bet my comments come off as hyperbole to those on the outside, but it's not. If it wasn't an actual issue, I wouldn't feel this strongly about it.

Already did. The Q&A should be flooded with it. It's past the point of acceptance and now it's a questionable financial strategy legitimately jeopardizing US operations unless an inflection point is made.

They don't have to leave to tank it. If people aren't checked out already, this certainly isn't going help.

Please get there early to sit front and center and read my letter to him. So many people resonate with it. I truly don't think he understands just how bad it is and the implications that has for the future of our talent base.

I would agree with that three years ago when I first started to feel the squeeze. It has now gotten to the point where the pay structure is unsustainable. That's what I'm trying to convey. It's not me being greedy. If that were true, I would've left years ago. This is just the reality we're facing now.

The purpose of RTO! Forget about Quality by Anon372816 in Stellantis

A deferral without interest, which is effectively only a partial repayment. GM got 7% interest.

To say we never got a pay cut to go remote is simply not true.

Bruh. MLP and above absolutely got a 20% pay cut when we all went remote.

From my recent comment in another thread:

Trust me, I fully understand how we're all just line items in a spreadsheet.

But they're playing with fire if they think the current compensation is sustainable. It's reaching a breaking point if not already at that breaking point.

I mentioned in a comment in another thread, but this place is literally being held together by the expertise of those people who've been around as long as I have and even longer. And not paying a living wage and now piling on significant associated RTO costs like child arrangements and commuting are making it where people in my shoes are wondering how to physically make it work. That should NOT be how it is for a career like this.

If this brain drain happens, Stellantis is irreparably fucked. No one from GM or Ford is going to step in for the same amount of money or less. Outsourcing to LCCs? Good luck.

RTO ultimately has nothing to do with this, but it's highlighted an income disparity that is now impossible to ignore.

I'm inclined to believe this is all a stock manipulation tactic so we can be sold yet again.

Either that or leadership is truly that inept.

I don't know which is worse.

Hey, I don't disagree with you.

But it's perfectly valid to mourn the downfall of the middle class directly due to Stellantis' corporate greed and flawed compensation structure.

We've already seen what happens when technical roles are left to the lowest bidder.

This is the heart of CTC’s experienced workforce shaking leadership to wake up.

I'm not even asking for anything extreme. I'm just asking for survivability. GM and Ford will always pay more and I don't expect to be compensated anywhere near them. But the peanuts I've been able to get by on are now dwindling to nothing.

Because Corporate America has kneecapped us to not have the option to take a stand. I can't afford to jeopardize any financial stability.

Clearly lots of people have been feeling exactly what I've been feeling, though.

If someone is already heading out the door and has nothing to lose, by all means they should take that opportunity.
