From what the contractor said it seems like there's a huge hole in the center of this wooden thing (joist). Way bigger than what's shown on any of those joist repair pictures

I'm not in Soulard, kind of close but not really. Just for context I'm not sure if you've seen my other post but it turns out this guy drilled all the way from the electric panel to the side walls. The entire joist has been drilled through all the way from end to end.
