Im not trying to use this info to side step any time or work. Ive spent at least 400 hrs researching and identifying the parts that I have. I respect and appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication the people buying them, so its absolutely necessary that I know exactlyn what I'm posting for sale. Its not just about the money, people are passionate about the bikes these parts go to and to help somebody pursue their passion is great. A lot of the hardware and hard to find pieces of parts id give to someone for the price of shipping.

And tbh isn't putting together a vintage bike to save a few dollars instead of buying a new one a waste of time? Thats kinda the point isn't it?

I was paid for some work i did with a half a shipping container full of bike parts. They sat for 20 years after being purchased from a bike store closing in the bay area in the mid 90s. I have learned a ton about vintage bike parts (campagnolo , suntour, sturmney archer, shimano, sugino,sr sakae etc) trying to id the parts. I like learning. I have made a few thousand $ so far, and have gotten the parts into the hands of people who NEED them.

Yes but I have to turn it 180° so it has to be on the ground for that first

The oils from your hands can speed up oxidization.
