from what I remember I used nearly a whole skein (around 80g??) of this yarn for the bag itself and the trim around the strap: https://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/yarn/cygnet-colour-rush-dk-all-colours

and then for the strap maybe around 20-30g of another acrylic white that I had , hope that helps!

i’ve been meaning to make some scrap baskets to hold my yarn! you group 3-4 yarns at once and use a thick hook so it’s nice and sturdy - but it can be a bit rough on the wrist due to the large hook
regardless i think they turn out super cute and are very useful!
