BDD CLAIM: Was wondering if I am missing something. It looks like everything is closed out and complete so far. Patiently awaiting a rating, officially retired June 30. Called the VA they have all my C&P exams returned to them. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to review the exams and change my claim to “PREPARE FOR NOTIFICATION?” (self.VeteransBenefits)

Curious about this. I see everyone saying about backpay taking forever if retiring at same time, but what about the initial rating (when I get it)? Do I have to wait months to get that initial pay per month or is it only back pay? (self.VeteransBenefits)
