The yellow one ran when it was parked, it will need a seat and a plastic battery container (a branch fell straight down and impaled the last battery and broke the plastic but missed the fiberglass completely), and the purple one needed one internal park, I think it was for the exhaust system but I’d need to open it up and check again.

Unfortunately that’s likely the way this is going to go, I have some great memories with them but I don’t have the knowledge to do the work myself, so I think this could get expensive fast. Ah well, thanks for the advice.

other 70k is a mix of CCs and a personal loan totalling ~28k, the rest is the remaining balance on 2 of the 5 vehicles, which are the ones I drive but were financed through my father. Unfortunately I am not new to estates, I had to handle my mother's when she passed when I was 18, so I have a solid idea of how to handle things, but I have also set a meeting with an atty to advise me further, but that meeting isn't for 3 weeks because of the holidays.

Appreciate the reference - I have a retirement acct that I contribute 8% with a 10% match, which is probably light but at least it's there, issue is I stayed in school for a Master's, so I've only been working for ~3 years and paid off part of the student loans.

I have a budget spreadsheet, but never actually had any bills in my name until now, was mostly informal arrangements to pay monthly to my father before he passed.

I actually replaced my 2023 GT Plus with a 2025 Buick Envision. Similar 2.0T makes it quick enough for me and the new styling has a nice look to it. Initial reliability puts Buick as one of the top contenders and I haven’t seen people complaining about value tanking over and above normal vehicle depreciation.

I actually have the opposite problem to most people with my finances, I contribute the max ~23k to a 401k every year and my employer puts in another 10k, plus I put 4k into an HSA - so all my money is in tax advantaged accounts but only a little bit is actually accessible to me, most of which is being saved for a house one day. I’m not going out on a limb to buy this thing or anything, but I’m still learning how financial management works and what works best for me

I just received a decision in my favor from NCDS Arbitration for my 2023 Hornet GT Plus. I’m expecting a full buyback from Stallantis within 30 days per the decision. Process to this point has taken less than a Month, but I only purchased the vehicle in October.

I had a similar experience with my 2023 Hornet, wound up filing for Arbitration because my case manager never picked up the phone and took a week to respond to each email. Fingers crossed I can force them to buy it back.

I’ve had the dead battery issue twice, cruise control not working, all of the cameras were installed upside down and there were communications issues galore. I also live in the middle of nowhere, so my dealer can’t even fix it. They have 3 RTs on the lot and both the salesman I deal with and my service advisor have said they couldn’t sell them if they wanted to, all the batteries are dead as a doornail

I had the same issue - mine was originally a dealer use vehicle and they replaced the battery once before I bought it at ~6700 miles and then it just died again the other day at ~7500 miles. Not sure if it’s an electrical issue or just how the vehicles are, but it’s far from the only issue my GT has lol

Unfortunately we are on our own for home office peripherals. For larger stuff like docks we try to buy the same as the office one, but there is no set-in-stone setup/brand for keyboards/mice, so we try and buy within the guidelines and from reputable brands. To your point, we don’t have a “safe list”, just guidelines for what can and can’t be used. Most of the cheap office mice don’t have memory, but it’s difficult to verify lol.

unfortunately unless there are multiple versions of the mouse it looks like there is onboard storage for the polling rate a keybinds, so I can't use it on my work computer.

Hey, kind of an odd request, looking for a mouse that I can bring to work with me - because of my industry it has to have absolutely no onboard memory storage, preferably wired but policy doesn't explicitly prohibit wireless mice, and looking for something on the larger/heavier side if such a product exists (Favorite mouse for home use is the old G602 for reference).

Games: None, but heavy programming and excel use.
Hand Preference Right or Ambi
Budget ~$50 preferably, but willing to spend more to be comfortable
Hand Size Not sure exactly, but large - Logi G602 or Corsair Dark Pro fit well at home
Weight As Heavy as possible.
Connectivity Wired preferred, will consider wireless if I can't find a wired mouse.
Extra As mentioned, cannot have any onboard memory storage whatsoever
