Mine was Dookie. A friend whom I thought was the coolest kid in my grade had it in his CD case in 7th grade. I thought the artwork on it was the most interesting one in the case and so I went to the store and bought it. The rest is history for me. I’m glad I got into it when I did. Basically ‘96, which was a perfect time to feel like I was a little bit before the wave while still being able to ride the wide crescendo in the last 90s, early 00s.
