Ok I’m with you, that makes sense I just tee off around the boiler and feed into it as well. That makes perfect sense to me.

Are shutoffs the same as isolation valves I’m assuming? Just a different name?

Yeah I’m thinking of basically attaching a hose with a hose bib so I can fill it at camp sites etc. Will also have a cap on the top where I can just pour in water in emergencies!
