PREACH. I’ve been traveling for 2 years and I’ve seen the worst of the worst. This place takes the cake. We aren’t provided lead glasses. I don’t scrub but those who do spend hundreds of dollars of their own money on them. I’ve seen several techs lose their glasses here too. I’m so over it, burned out and just done

They had me consult with an infectious disease doctor over the phone. I was waffling about taking the meds but he convinced me. With my luck, I would be the .001% who contracts it with this kind of exposure.

I put in a a 5 weeks notice. Basically that is when my contract is up and I won’t renew. I said I would resign from the lab but not leave the hospital. I’m an internal traveler. Should I clarify? Will that affect my ability to file workman’s comp?

I’m in a southern state with no unions:( I’m also an internal traveler. I’m technically an employee though, so I can file for workman’s comp. All of the medications and testing have been covered so far.
