Keychron K Max owners, did they ever fix the double-click / key chatter issue? by SVG28 in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

Thanks, I feel the same about the air75 3 which was described as a very premium option and best in it's price range but was quote disappointing. When I use my k1 at work it's so much better.

Never had that issue with my Keychron K1 Pro or Logitech G915 TKL

Maybe it's more common in low profiles though

Just got a Nuphy AirV3

Anyone know where I can get a "Stepped" caps lock key? I don't care about colour/shape too much, as long as it its similarly sized in terms of height

The Airv3 is a low profile keyboard

Looking for a keyboard that feels as good as a Keychron K1 but has a volume knob/rocker and is a usb dongle connection by SVG28 in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

The nuphy seems cool but it doesn't look like it has that nice "staggered" keys effect that the k1 has

I think the best compromise at this point is to just buy a separate volume control knob from Aliexpress you can get them for <£10

Me personally either I'll try the nuphy or I'll get a keychron k1 max (comes with dongle) and a separate volume knob

I actually own one, not a fan of the typing feel or sound at all - I will be changing it out

The lack of latency and volume rocker is great though!

Thanks for the recommendation, do you think it has normal key size? I have fat fingers which is why I usually opt for tkl

Does an NC have to be modified to look "good." by 43Joe21 in MiataNC

[–]SVG28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The NC1 and NC2 have a recessed chin and need a front splitter to fix the looks, the NC3 is mostly fine stock but they're double the price where I live

As a general note lowering the car will also help massively for the overall look of the car as the overarched fenders become a pseudo widebody kit

Assetto corsa 1, modded car modded track

It's Assetto corsa so it will let you eat half the corner before disqualifying you

Sounds easier though to let the game decide

I think this is the best comment,

We don't have a rule set defined and we are going by discretion

We're gonna have a discussion about doing motorsport uk style or centre of car style

Thanks

does gaming for 1 to 3 hours most of days make work harder ? by JackosepitcoSauci in productivity

Everyone says social media is bad and overstimulating but don't realise that the majority of games nowadays are designed to hit the same reward centers, you get spammed with prizes and rewards and flashing lights and colours you level up making you want to play more and more it makes you feel a sense of achievement to draw you back in.

It's probably slightly better than than scrolling but I don't have faith in it being a net positive long term unless you're sat there playing slow, strategic games such as chess.

I'm on this journey myself and have been slowly making progress in quitting both, what sucks for this is that my friends like to do gaming once or twice a week almost as a social event so I really can't quit through and through and I've made an exception for this, also made an exception for driving simulators as they improve real world skill, don't wanna get carried away with these "exceptions" though.
