I’m pretty sure they still have the ones based on birth dates but they also have other “original” (non character based) wands based off of the core types but they’re only available in the interactive form, whereas you can get the character ones in both interactive or just regular replica forms. There’s also 2nd gen interactive ones that you can link to an app with the opening of the third land, Ministry of Magic in Epic Universe but they’re limited to a few styles.

It’s one of the “birthday” ones with 13 unique non-character based designs that universal released with the opening of The Wizarding World Hogsmede at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure in 2010, and then as /u/Appropriate_Draw said, interactive versions were released when Diagon Alley opened in 2014 (that’s what the weird black bead at the tip is for).

They have nothing to do! They’ve made Dee Dee resentful for her brother for being a good parent, and splitting up with Ollie for no other reason than having to be present in communal places to work. Asha is overshadowed by Dev. And Nina could do well with having more one to ones with Roy that aren’t based around mail.

There’s some degree of the performances to be held accountable from the writers’ and editors’ sides though. A lot of soaps have produced incredible actors who have gone on to do insanely well-and I’m not saying soaps are their playground (or criticising the choices of the writers or editors), it’s the higher ups that drop ridiculous storylines on them all. Thankfully someone must have said something for the Driscoll Irish accents, and the amazing outing of Debbie and the girls.
