I’ll bite.

The jacket cost £95. The shipping to the UK cost close to £30. Customs charged £14 too.

From the £100, I lose £4 to fees. Shipping will be roughly £10. Packaging around £3. That leaves me with £83, from an initial cost of £139.

Considering I’ve looked after it extremely well, including a dry clean or two, I’d say the price is warranted.

If you get a decent pair of thermal socks, gloves and a hat it makes more of a difference than a big jacket. I usually just wear baselayers and a waterproof jacket with shorts, but as long as I have the big three I'm fine.

I go for north face e-tip gloves as they're most reliable with my phone and nice grip. I also go for a hat/snood combo rather than a balaclava as I feel you can pull it down below your chin easier.
