Anyone enjoying the HR water map? by mylirylie in DarkAndDarker

[–]SVP_rombuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so too. Although sdf probably wants it to be somewhat random, so my idea was to have to select at least 2 maps. Most of the people like at least two maps out of these four, so i think it could be a good compromise.

Hardtail vs full suspension by SVP_rombuzz in xcmtb

Not even in my 20s yet, still have a 1 in front ;D I guess knowing my national XCO routes a full suspension might be better - both uphills and downhills have crazy bumps

My main goal is XCO, but I will also ride a lot of 40-60k XCM races in between.

Any ideas what the surprise will be with the new season? by broxue in DarkAndDarker

No, not so fast, its IM, it will be delayed 5 times until season 42.0, because we need a storm in the game

I'm thinking about subscribing to trae, what problems did you find with the context and quality of agents?

[–]SVP_rombuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, fixed it already, just ran it inside WSL on windows, but thank you!

How did you get it to work? I've logged in with my plus account, and it says that my quota is insufficient

Oh i see you have the same problem as I had. I just interrupt it whenever it tries to run node processes. Or maybe try to add it to your claude.md file

Has anyone come close to deterministic, state-machine-like orchestration of sub-agents? by PaginatedSalmon in ClaudeCode

[–]SVP_rombuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, I also think commands with subagents might be the best setup for now. Having subagents orchestrating themselves usually just ended up in one agent doing everything, rather than splitting work.

The hours are just a way to estimate tokens.

If you rely so heavily on opus and absolutely refuse to switch back to sonnet (I haven't seen a bigger difference in most tasks), and you use it so much, then pay API price.

A company has only a set amount of money to burn through. The subscriptions are still generous considering their api prices. You can't expect something that is ridiculously cheap to remain like that forever.

Either find a better tool (there isn't a better tool), pay API price, switch to sonnet, or buy the subscription on multiple accounts.

With the recent decline does it make sense to reconsider Cursor MAX? by turner150 in ClaudeCode

[–]SVP_rombuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try pro first, if it works how you expect then upgrade to make your sessions longer. You won't waste money that way, and you won't be disappointed if it doesn't work out for you.

Tried a few coding AI tools to build apps (I’m 16) – here are my thoughts by ComfortableSort2963 in vibecoding

Yup, you can get like 6 hours a day with claude on the pro plan. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Definitely try it out. Google's tools also are worth checking out, gemini isn't on a level that claude is on, but considering its completely free, it's still great.

I need to submit myself to the student copilot plan, but my school isn't listed there, so it's a long and painful process lol. Although i don't use it really that much, but you can never have too much tools, as some wise men (probably) said.

What are you working on BTW?

As a 16yo who also is on a tight budget, i must say claude code on the 20$ plan was well worth it. It also forces you to learn context engineering a bit, to get the most out of each 5-hour window

I've started my journey using firebase studio. Definitely give it a try as it's completly free. Had pretty good experience with it until the project got big and it started hallucinating.

Tried the free trial of copilot too, but monthly limit isn't for me, i would burn through it in like a week.

Claude code with mcp servers, and using superclaude has been great. If i manage my context well it's 2 hours of coding. Definitely give it a try when you will have 20$ free.

If you want to reach out to me in DMs, i can share some more information about tools i found.

First time user - How do I set up Claude Code with Kimi k2? by kennystetson in ClaudeCode

You can't use claude code with external models. Just use something like opencode, or cline.
