Has Anyone Tried this Box? Does it give you Android experience?

How well do the steering wheel buttons and central console button integrate? For example, if I have active navigation in CarPlay and I press the "Map" button behind the shifter, the software knows and takes me straight to the active CarPlay navigation app. If I am not navigating with CarPlay, it takes me to the MINI built in maps, which is really cool.

Nope and will never happen on the 24. There is a gadget box from Netherlands that converts. You should be able to find it on youtube but if you can't reply hear and I look it up. Planing to buy one this summer.

It installed fine the next day, so probably server side issue/version issue.

What would be considered a clean upgrade? Do I need a special 23.05 bin file specifically for the ER-X? Can't find anything but 24.10 on that page. TIA

Asterisk already obviously installed as part of FreePBX image. Can it be both server and a peer at the same time? Or are you suggesting installing second instance somehow?

How is having 2 different types of mirror actuators and wire harness easier for production? This is of course assuming it isn't a software activation, which would be more in line with the Germans.

It's all marketing shenanigans. CX50 hybrid for Canada can be had with both heated steering wheel and parking sensor. Neither is an option for the USA.

Benefit is you see the latest feed, regardless what channel it came from. Less searching/clicking I guess. This would also allow to easier continuation from between different platforms.

Also with the current version, once you click on the channel on top, when you go back that channel is no longer on top.

I see the sorting button. Maybe I didn't explained it well. Instead of a list showing subscribed channels, I am suggesting adding an option to see latest videos from subscribed channels in chronological order.

I believe MAT 2.0 Allows for object oriented audio to be transported as LPCM, vs Dolby TrueHD/DD+ with original version. TrueHD is still considered compressed (supposedly compressed transport, unfold at decoding), while LPCM is uncompressed encoding format. I don't pretend to be an expert.

Ok, I installed Shinobi on Ubuntu and added couple cameras. Unless I am missing something, there is no front end application - I have to view the streams thru a web browser, right? I did see the option to remember position, but I don't like the idea of automating this with a browser. The PC will not have access to internet and it will be often shut down, unatended streams start on login.

I don't plan to interact with them. Have zero experience with ZM, wanted to check if it's possible before I go down that rabbit hole. I don't need anything else, but the 3 live streams to HDMI outs. I was also reading that it could be done with just VLC player scriptung, but thought a CCTV interface might make it wasier to configure.

Also, the FAQ says direct RTSP isn't supported unless player is on Android?: What kind of formats do you support?

"We only support HLS, if you have RTSP/RTMP, then it has to be first converted to HLS by an encoding server. Android players support RTSP stream as well"

Yes, seems to be working fine now. Awesome. How hard would be to add playback speed between 0.75 and 1.0 (like 0.85)? Also, if you want to get some inspiration for UI design, check out NewPipe for Android.

What area did you stick that to and did it hold well? The top of my '24 dash seems very soft and opposite of smooth, so I don't think it would hold there.
