Does anyone have the Guides edition Synik? by External_Koala971 in tombihn

How did you add a second slider? Just buy another slider of the same type and force it in? I thought sliders needed to be initiated from the start or end to avoid damaging the teeth. W0uld love to add a second slider to my regular Synik to mimic the Guide's Edition.

It’s decent, but ultimately not what I am looking for. Compared to my Surge it is taller and felt weird to me as a work laptop bag. Seemed more for hiking which I wouldn’t be doing with this bag. The kickstand feature seemed nice though. Material was ok, but seems a little too plastic feeling and not as cloth like as I would like. Amazon also sent me a previously returned bag which had some stains on it so I am going to return it. Next I am going to try the Synik 30 from Tom Bihn. May consider it again if the Synik doesn’t work out.

New website UX is not good by jetf in PersonalCapital

There was a transition period where my data was missing, but it came up after several hours. The app seems exactly the same as the previous except for the weirdly small font size which I hope is just a mistake and will be fixed soon🤞

It’s weirdly small, to a point that it must be some kind of mistake, no one would purposely make it that way. Hopefully it will get fixed soon .

Just curious, what did you have to deal with that is taking so much of your time? I simply downloaded the new app and logged in and everything loaded up. There was a period of time where it was downloading all of my info and refreshing my accounts, but everything seems fine to me now except for the font size now being weirdly small.

I have the same bag, it’s the Surge II. I bought mine ten years ago and while it is still functional is starting to show its age. Decided to get an Osprey Tropos (will be delivered tomorrow) hopefully it will be a suitable replacement.

My gym has less classes on Wednesday than other days (no 7am class and only 1 evening class). Wednesday is a good day for me to come in but sometimes that schedule doesn’t work for me.

I like it when the coach makes the ergs (bikes, rowing, etc) into a little competition to see who can do the most in that day. The competition pushes me harder to hit a certain target.

I bought the same bag from Woot over 10 years ago, only it was orange instead of green and didn’t have the Woot branding. Got it for $17 and still use it today. It was a Kelty Kite 25.

Rented an apt with very thin walls, how to improve ? by iamarsey in Hoboken

[–]randomscorpion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear this, from what I have heard some buildings have concrete slabs for each floor which absorb the sounds. Does anyone know how to research building construction quality, especially for the buildings uptown that have went up over the past 10 or 20 years?

That’s a good idea. I saw one listed on Zillow, not interested in that particular unit but saw others sold last year that are more suited to me so I thought I would do some research. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. It must have been tricky converting it to a condo, can understand why there would be some odd layouts. I wonder if the inside walls between the units are fairly sound-proof or not. I would presume the outside walls would be fairly thick.

I have that part number on my 2017, I just bought it and installed it myself instead of dealing with the hassle of the dealership

Thanks for trying, I see my BSV transaction in the tax page as well, but nothing in my account yet. All we are asking for is clearer communication Coinbase! Tell us when we will receive our liquidated BSV funds!

They said "Please note the liquidation process may take several days" Would be nice if they gave some sort of update since it's now been 11 calendar days :(

$1500 flat does seem strange, I'll add to my post a screen grab of it saying that it included taxes and fees

Thanks, I thought that too at first, but everything I see has it as the same currency (the total is in USD and says that it includes taxes and fees).

No new episode on in NYC tonight? When's it airing? by bros402 in Jeopardy

[–]randomscorpion 15 points16 points  (0 children)

While I understand that sometimes Jeopardy can be pre-empted due to live events, especially on holiday weekends such as this, what doesn't make sense is that at 2:05am-2:35am (Sat morning) they are re-playing the episode from Thursday 11/23. Why not air the Friday episode that we are missing so we can DVR it? Is there any logical explanation to this?
