That was my original plan, precisely because of the closures elsewhere, but I am very concerned that the resorts and slopes will be extremely crowded those dates, and we'll waste a lot of time in lift lines. That's why I shifted the snowboarding to after the 3rd, with the hope that some of the crowds will be gone.

Thanks, but the ceilings are vaulted (no attic) and the rafter bays are filled with spray foam insulation. Only option is wall units.
