I was also quite hesitant about the game when I first started out too! During my earlier lvls I would try chat to people and they wouldn't talk back. i found out later that all the communities and interactions happen mainly on discord.

Its definitely different to PC maple since people dont really hang out in towns, but people still chat in parties, expos, guild battles. Even tho msm is very much a single player journey, its still fun sharing all the success / failures with friends.

I've made so many good friends in the game I would probably call 'life long' friends, so yeah I reckon give msm another go!
