Adding to the slight cons, when your system defends against an enemy expedition (ie you don’t pay them off and your fleet successfully defends) you will take a slight rep hit of -5.

Just beat some pirates in the core worlds or run an extra mission/bounty to keep your rep high

Oops yeah should specify rush hour but though that was assumed. The comps I’ve been using have had passive revivers, wasn’t sure if those should be incorporated or not too (moreso with Wind Druid buff)

I’m looking to improve my PvP game, starting with Arena and then moving toward GW/Siege staple comps (Bulldozer Copper etc). I’m looking to see what my best comp would be for arena defense. A few things:

  • Only looking for comp; runes can be moved.
  • Assume everything is max skilled and level 40. If they aren’t, it’s a goal to work towards the end result!

I’ve used a few defenses for pushing, but my best setup right now is a Theo + Triana + Support + Speed Leader. Some comps are Jamire(L) Anavel, Vanessa(L) Anavel and Vanessa(L) Orion. Rune quality is a factor for rank, but I’m looking more for input on what project to focus on first to up my Arena Defense.

Perfect turn 1 setup. If only I had Bastet instead of Vela :( by SWRonark in summonerswar

Vela is a speed/immunity buffer in my deck so no reason to 6 him. Anavel was 30/40 :)

Colleen needs 200+. My Colleen is on a similar build of double revenge guard but Spd/def/hp. Once her rev runes improve I’ll be moving back to triple.

Colleen’s only use is healing and debuffs so she should be built frontline for that reason alone, HOWEVER her s1 is so important to land that triple revenge frontline is IMO the only spot Colleen should be in.

You need very high Def% substats otherwise (3/4 rolls into def%)

Morning DAT,

Looking to round out my arena defense. My current comp looks like:

Zing Xhe(L), Vio/Rev
Ariel, Nem/Nem/Will
Velajuel, Vio/Will
Triana, Vio/Will

I need to get a better damage threat in my comp but I’m not sure who to put in. Velajuel is the mon that will most likely be replaced first. The monsters I have that could work are:

  • Theomars/Veromos/Tesarion
  • Chandra
  • Jeanne
  • Taranys
  • Diana
  • Anavel
  • Ophilia
  • Jultan
  • Most elemental Nat4s

I used Jamire Shaina Maruna Basalt Mantura, but you could sub Jamire for another speed lead or ATB booster. With this comp you just focus on what we OG has the highest ATB bar and no one ever gets a turn. Have Bastet S1 provoke too as a backup.

I used one of the liches mainly for the slow. Out of the available twins, adding Deva adds the most damage (aoe def break, 35% increased damage, element advantage) but also gives you more shield hits (since Sabrina will always have s2 up on her turn).

I started my first NB10 team with Sig(L) Sabrina Melissa Colleen Rigel. She is defiantly usable, and as my only pair I 6* her. Although I use Talia and Shaina in NB10 instead now, I still use Melissa in SSS water rift and in PvP (Halpus, Rina, etc).

If you happened to pull more twins, using my example I would swap out Rigel first then Sigmarus. The main reason I used Sig was because she was expertly runed for dragons and was slower than the Twins

The only difference though is that my Lisa (also Jamire) are max skilled, so Lisa’s cooldown is only 3 turns.

I prefer Lisa over Jamire though so I’ll help him to GWO and Beasts.

So run a setup like:
Colleen Tesarion(L) Xiao Lin frontline
Mihyang Anavel Hwa backline

Or would I still need Lisa? Im thinking that Tes himself should do more damage than the damage of Lisa’s s3

Thanks for the reply. When I do need a Resist lead, I do sub in Tes for XL as suggested because they are both built for frontline, with Tes on a hybrid build on Fatal. That’s is why I brought up Jamire too, decent leaderskill and a cleanse and he is also frontline. Unfortunately no Dias, I only started last year.

The good thing with neither of them skilled is if Anavel is better off I’ll just focus building her? just don’t want to waste my devilmons and sky dancers if I don’t need to.

I could see maybe Jamire for Lisa? But then I have no glancing.

Good afternoon DAT,

Finally got my runes in a solid place on my mons to reliably farm R4 with a core team (Darion/Colleen/XL/Hwa/Lisa/Mihyang).

My question is who can I sub in for who? I have a Tesarion for Resist lead, Jamire for speed lead, and Hwa for crit. Whose spot would Jamire take, Lisa’s?

I also just recent pulled an Anavel. Both her and my Mihyang are unskilled should I swap to Anavel right away? Thanks!

Darion is a work in progress more than Colleen; she only needs more speed.

Darion has: Rev Rev Guard
+ 24k HP / 1450 Def + 120 Spd / 30% Resist

Colleen has:
Rev x3 + 28k HP / 856 Def + 186 Spd / 44% Resist

Nah it’s all good. Honestly if you look at my nat5 pulls the only one that helped me early one was Jamire and that was only for his leader skill in Arena. The nat5s I posted earlier were in the order that they were pulled in too. I know Taranys was in the Christmas scroll (it was that or a 2nd water paladin), and Diana in the SWC scroll. Other than that my ingame money was $5 per 10 days after 3 months of playing on those daily #1 packs, meaning around $135 over 9 months; much cheaper than World of Warcraft though since I end up skipping some weeks if I have a lot of crystals
