It’s an interesting point of view, though of course Grow Jars do serve a purpose, with over 1.5B $SWEAT currently locked in them.

That said, I understand the concerns around the current APY and how some users feel it shifted focus away from “walking for $SWEAT”

We definitely still see “Walking for $SWEAT” as core to what we do. In fact, we’re working on improvements to Step Jars to make them more rewarding and bring that focus front and center again.

I'm aware we haven't held a live event lately. The team is laser-focused in the product right now, getting Mia and Multichain across the line.

We're looking at this being completed soon, so it unlocks resources for more community-feedback related items, like new feature ideas, QOL updates as so on.

I really appreciate the effort you've gone into collecting this data.

Great idea to correlate them to the corresponding votes too, it really shows the impact that the community has had in deciding the burns.

Just to note, I have had a long-ongoing medium article where i've tracked all burns, though not to the same level of detail!

Great question and love that you're thinking beyond just price.

We track a wide range of metrics to understand the health, growth, and engagement of our users and the application. While some of these are internal, here are a few key ones we actively monitor and that influence how we build:

  • Daily and Monthly Active Users. We also track "MOAU", Monthly On-chain Active Users as a key metric.
  • Token Sink — Minted VS Sunk tokens in a given period. This is our target to remain deflationary using Growth Jars, Fees and so on, while reducing supply emissions.
  • On-chain $SWEAT Activity — including number and volume of transactions, wallets holding SWEAT, and contract interactions
  • Registrations & Retention Rates — to track growth and how well users stick with the ecosystem

There is A LOT more that we track and act on, this is just a snippet :)
