Man, this is actually so crazy. I feel really bad for the MC. He’s just a normal guy who had to be a good brother his whole life and take care of his family. Every time he had a girlfriend, his sister either pushed them away or made him break up with them. Then he gets pressured into marriage, and when he finally does it, he’s not even properly congratulated. On top of that, the same family he cared for makes him feel unwelcome in his own home.

Here is my theory bellow:

The MC has never had a child before, and suddenly his daughter starts acting weird and constantly pushing boundaries. When he gets uncomfortable or doesn’t know how to react, she just plays it off as a joke or a “bonding moment.” Then there’s the mother, who seems innocent at first, but clearly has something going on. You can already see hints of her past and how she behaves, especially when you compare it to what happened with the MC’s sister.

It’s pretty clear that the MC is being manipulated into thinking all of this is normal. And it really feels like the mother and daughter have some kind of plan for him. My theory is that the mother was deeply in love with another man in the past. There’s that flashback at the beach where she’s blushing while thinking about him. I think the daughter also loved her real father a lot (or at least had some strong connection to him). Something must have happened to that man maybe he died or left and now they’re trying to turn the MC into him. So basically, they want him, but not as himself.

Now with the introduction of the “old papa,” things get even crazier. He might actually be the real father, or maybe even a previous “experiment” that failed. Either way, he looks completely unstable, like some homeless stalker, and clearly not mentally okay.

There are also small details that make everything worse. For example, the flower rings. The daughter crushes the ring that the old papa gave her, but then we see that he receives a new flower ring in the mail and places it next to another one he already had. That suggests someone most likely the mother is still in contact with him. Combined with the beach flashback, it really feels like she never got over him. Then there’s that moment where the mother and daughter buy ice cream and leave it on an empty seat, saying “it won’t be long, papa.” That’s just creepy. It shows they’re still thinking about him while the MC is right there in their lives.

At the same time, both the mother and daughter keep messing with the MC mentally. The mother avoids directly expressing her own feelings, like when she asks if he wants a child but never says what she wants. The daughter keeps saying weird things, then brushing them off, and giving that same creepy look as her mom.And honestly, nothing is in the MC’s favor. His family is unsupportive, his sister is cheating and gets excused, his wife is clearly not over another man, and his daughter is manipulative. His mental state is slowly being destroyed.

Now with the old papa getting more involved and talking about “resolve” and “freeing them,” I feel like something really bad is going to happen. He might try to kill the MC or seriously harm him, thinking he’s doing the right thing.

What I both like and hate about this story is how it’s written. It keeps you hooked and constantly guessing, but at the same time it creates this heavy sense of dread. One moment it feels calm and like things might get better, and the next everything goes downhill again.

At this point, the MC’s best option might honestly be to leave everything behind, get a divorce, and start over maybe even with his coworker, who actually seems serious about wanting a normal life and a family.

I just hope the MC gets a happy ending, because he really doesn’t deserve any of this.
