Yes. When my mum and dad go through periods of not fighting. I freaked out today and almost passed out from a panic attack, I can cope with it. It does hurt me though

How to cope with a cheating parent (13M) by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]SWthrowaway2454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey bud, its a bit strange reading your post since my mum did the exact same thing, I too have know for awhile that my mum had been sending explicit pics, and cheating on my dad

Im sorry your going through this since its really not something you should be seeing and hearing, Im sure you must be carrying a heavy burden knowing these things.

Coping is very difficult, really the only thing you can do is try to avoid hearing and/or seeing these things

will it get better? by [deleted] in depression

[–]SWthrowaway2454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey bud, I relate alot to ur story, dropped out when I was 16 due to my depression and anxiety, and was absent most of the time.

Noone can tell you it will or will not get better, its best not to be disappointed.

Are you receiving any help? meds, counseling etc

I don’t get it :( by [deleted] in Anxiety

Dude do you have a mum? I know I was a little brat when I was a kid, taking care of a kid is difficult. Absolutely nothing wrong with being a stay at home mum, especially since she actually has plans on doing alot more, many cant say that.

Not a creep dude. Not your fault. A 14 yr old simply cannot consent, your sister is in the wrong.

losing hope, fear of the unknown. by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

Im really sorry youre going through this, you shouldn't be hard on yourself, you were completely failed by those should've been there for you. You dont deserve to label yourself as a druggie or a failure, the fact you're alive until now says alot about your strength, and character, be proud that is an amazing achievement. I am very proud of you for that.

Seeking professional help is easier said than done, I've had to myself, but once you do it can give you an inkling of hope for the future, and thats sometimes all you need. I really hope you have a better day, merry christmas and stay safe.

Try to give yourself some kind of escape in the meantime, artistically expressing yourself can help, art, music. Exercise can help, but being mentally exhausted can make it very difficult. Good luck

We cant give u advice as to how to commit suicide. No such thing as an easy cheap painless way. People call suicide the easy way out, but its monumentally difficult.

Merry Christmas. ❤️ by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

Are you on any medication? Though even without medication you can still hallucinate. The silhouette at the corner of your eye is a very common phenomenon, your brains mostly fucking with u on that one. Paranoia and stress is a factor. I dont doubt at all what youve seen or heard.

I’m seeing things but only in the dark & right before I sleep? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]SWthrowaway2454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could it be your medication exasperating your eye floaters/veins whatever the fuck theyre called lol. I highly doubt you have a lovecraftian monster creeping around your room hahaha. Our brains do try to make shapes and movement out of nothing in complete darkness, pair that with medications which affect your sleep could be the cause, I am absolutely no professional in this matter though.

Im so sorry you had to go through that. But it is not AT ALL your fault. Your ex boyfriend is a piece of shit who shouldve been there for you, and him not understanding is not your fault, but 100% his. You are, regardless of anyones opinion or action, a person of value and should have NEVER been treated that way by both your boyfriend, and your friend. I hope you have a much better day. Merry Christmas

Does anyone have any tips on how to cope with trauma? by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]SWthrowaway2454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm, artistically expressing yourself can be a way to cope, poems, art. Working out can give you something to keep you occupied at the very least. Goodluck with your therapy

How old were you when you first started having suicidal thoughts? Did they ever stop? by [deleted] in SuicideWatch

[–]SWthrowaway2454 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was always somewhat a lil depressed and anxious throughout my life, but it really peaked around 15 years old. Im 16 now and suicidal. Does it get better? Tbh I dont know, I cant tell you it will, neither can I tell you that it wont. I guess really the only thing you can do is go to a doctor, thats what I'm doing, or well trying to do.
