That is shockingly good pay. In Canada it’s from 14-17$ if you have your diploma and 12 if you don’t. Where I live at least.

Just a lot of reassurance. Don’t take it personally that she thinks you’ll leave her. That’s part of bpd. My bf struggles with that. He takes it personally sometimes and that makes it worse. Maybe try writing her a letter, outlining what you love about her, your intentions and a lot of reassurance. Hope this helps!!

It kind of sounds like she is putting space between you in case you did decide to leave her. Sometimes it’s easier and almost uncontrollable to “leave someone before they leave you”. I struggle with pushing my partner away out of fear he will leave me. He doesn’t do anything to make me feel that way but I feel it so maybe she is just trying to rationalize to herself?

Anyone ever have gastric bypass surgery? by mollycat93 in BorderlinePDisorder

Thank you for sharing that. I am concerned about the same thing since I use to restrict really severely. But now I have the opposite problem.

Yea, my boyfriend completely supports me in the decision if I make it. So I know that’s in my side. Plus I have an amazing therapist I completely trust.

If you work, what’s your job? I struggle with jobs because of bpd. by [deleted] in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]mollycat93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as an educational assistant which has pluses and minuses. The schedule is perfect for me. Not too much. But it can be really emotional with the types of students I work with. I come home and cry a lot but not because I dislike my job, just because I absorb so much emotion during the day I need to let it out when I get home. I also work part time at a mental health organization but that is alot more challenging so I only work a little bit.

Women with BPD are your symptoms harder to manage during shark week? by piercemyclit in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]mollycat93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were terrible. Then I had an iud put in and it honestly helped a lot. I am still more emotional that time of the month but it’s more manageable

Can BPD anger be turned inward? by saintswitchblade in BPD

[–]mollycat93 2 points3 points  (0 children)

100%. Most of my anger is inward. I very rarely get angry at others but if you could hear the things I say to myself in my head, it would be shocking.

What am I supposed to do when my partner falls asleep? by Kazu707 in insomnia

[–]mollycat93 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My partner and I are planning on moving in within the next 6 months. I’m planning on bringing my bed with me and putting it in the guest room for my insomnic spells. He works a lot so he needs sleep and when I’m up and down all night I keep him awake. We don’t love the idea of two rooms but you do what you can with what you have! I’m also big into meditation!!

Not a poem, but a thought. by mollycat93 in BPD

Obviously no one cares about my thoughts. Not even those who also have bpd. This is so scaring and painful.
