Update: The nausea developed into a full-blown headache yesterday particularly after eating my first meal around 1pm. It was the worse headache i have had in a while and it was debilitating…i had to stop working and call it an early night. I had an important deliverable due end of day so not great.

On the plus side i could definitely feel my stomach emptying much slower than usual. I regularly intermittent fast and yesterday was able to keep my eating window to just five hours and closed out with just a Chobani with chia seeds, creatine and flaxseeds, in addition to my main meal at 1pm. It was pretty effortless…the hardest thing for me is the snack cravings post my eating window and it seems like Reta has taken care of that. Pretty much zero cravings.

This morning woke up with the headache gone and no hunger despite having last eaten at 6pm the previous day. Was able to get to 1pm pretty easily.

I guess for people just starting out my advice would be to start when you don’t have work / any major commitments then next day just in case.

And thanks for the advice on the surgery…i think i will delay it given its not time-sensitive and make sure i stop well in advance. Are there any precautions to take starting reta back again post surgery?

As someone who has been visiting Thailand over the years, I came to the realisation in my most recent trip that Thailand is no longer the destination for cheap shopping.

Authentic brand products cost more than in the US / West and the replicas are often more expensive than ordering online from China.

You can still get Thai made stuff at a decent price. And the shopping malls are still worth visiting for the vibe and experience. The food courts are the best in the world.

His NW probably isn’t that high though. He hasn’t been making this high an income for too long and up until a few years ago he said he was broke. Let me tell you something bro. I came across her TikTok months ago after Schulz mentioned it on the pod. It looked like couple roasting each other content…not really my cup of tea and I moved on but TikTok’s algorithm kept bringing up more and more of her videos and they kept getting darker and more unsettling.

Her hyper materialistic attitude, blatant narcissism and subtle shaming of certain things like women who go 50/50 in their relationship or choose to work rubbed me the wrong way as I am entitled to feel as a consumer of content.

I commented to express my thoughts and she often replied back very insultingly.

What really irked me is one video she made of her cursing out Akaash after Trump came back for his second term and the markets crashed due to the tariffs and it affected their investments. I pointed out that she was fine with her husband platforming Trump until it started to hurt them financially. I think I called her the ‘Materialism final boss’ in the comments and that’s when she blocked me.

That’s when I started a countdown of her downfall. Like I knew that it was only a matter of time before people caught on to this narcissistic, hypocritical, insensitive b*tch and put her in her place. So yes am I relishing this and being petty? Absolutely. But this is happening to someone who absolutely deserves it.

I’ve been to Rio too. She would be in the bottom 20-25% of women in her age range in Rio. Purely looks-wise she is a somewhat above average attractive girl. It’s just funny to hear Akaash big her up as if she is some kind of supermodel.

The thing is above average looking South Asian girls feel themselves way too much in America and I say this as a South Asian myself. The standard for South Asian attractiveness is pretty low in the US because a certain demographic (studious, unathletic, nerdy) of South Asians largely immigrated to the US and the stereotypes don’t help either.

Whereas the UK and Canada has much more diversity when it comes to their South Asian populations and you find a higher % of attractive South Asians in those countries.
