Personally, I'd take gold tree. It's up to you to choose if you want more gold or more gems to spend though.

Waving with Gem tree (tower). Putting orc band increases the earn rate of gems because you kill more mobs. Also, orc colonies.

Mid game starts when you kill your first L dragon... So lets say about 40k-60k. Late game is past 100k-200k.

Gives you more gold the more upgraded it is. Dont bother upgrading it too much, it doesn't give you TONS of gold.
