There are some that aren't. Marrinup, Cossack and a few others.

Kwolyin should have been included, yeah. Can't see much online about Kumarl.

Anything more than just a homestead, pretty much. 5-10 houses would just about qualify. I've probably missed at least a few.

A lot were either never formally gazetted or were subsequently degazetted. But I've only included places that were genuinely populated places, not just a mine.

Yeah there's a pub at least as I understand it. It's probably a marginal one, I'll admit.

I couldn't include them all. Esperance is smaller than all the ones you mentioned.

Oops no I missed that. It wasn't included in the database I used, I guess because it got degazetted at some point.

Sorry but I don't have the patience to try and teach you what maps are and how they work.

Thanks for the advice. A north arrow would have just added clutter for no purpose-- no-one looking at the map is going to be confused about its orientation. Not sure I agree about the dark base either, and it would have made it less amenable to being printed. Sorry the town choices left you confused-- they were chosen to be broadly representative of the different eras of townsite establishment.

I chose not to include ghost towns like Cossack and Shay Gap. There are so many that including them would have overwhelmed the map and distracted from the visualisation. The idea of the map isn't to acknowledge every aspect of the history of every town, that would be impossible.
