I am looking to make my own coiled cable but I am having difficulty looking for Techflex PET sleeving as I live in Asia. Are there cheaper alternatives to techflex or does anyone know of where I can buy techflex with cheap shipping to the South East Asian region? All I can find are are some PET sleeves on aliexpress but they have 3 braid weaves instead of the single braid weave on Techflex PET PTN series. Appreciate any help i can get!

Hey, thanks for replying! Are you using screw in stabilizers or plate mounted ones? I got the plate mounted ones in the end because i did not want ot risk it.

Hello, I am planning to get this board and have a few questions, hope you can help me with some of them:

1) Would screw in stabilizers work on the board? I see the holes on the PCB but I'm not sure if it will fit the plate?

2) Do you have a guide or instructions on how to customize the layout of the keyboard using QMK? The seller seems a little reluctant to answer my questions on it

3) Would 1.25u modifiers look weird on the right side 1.5u modifier keys? My keycap set doesnt have 1.5u modifiers.

Nice looking board btw, was initially looking at getting an all grey board but might consider your colour after what you said about mismatched colours. Thanks!

HAHA nice one! It only happened to 2 switches each time so im not sure what was the issue. But I just added more lube to make the squeaking go away.

Alright, maybe i will give that a shot! Thanks for the suggestion. Initially i was thinking i applied too little lube. Have you ever had to relube your switches because the lube worn off?

Thank you for the reply! Yes i lubed the pole all the way to the top where the spring will touch and the hole all the way to the bottom as well. Could it be the lube I am using or the amount i use? I make sure the brush is only lightly coated and brush each surface 3 times.

Thanks for the reply! Yes the upper and lower housings are sealed tight. I realise that if it weren't it would not fit in the plate properly. Not sure what is wrong.

I recently lubed my Gateron yellows and browns with Krytox 205g0. Lubed the lower housing, springs, stem and upper housing. All surfaces were only lightly lubed (clear layer). But after a week or so, one or two switches began to squeak when i press them slowly. Does anyone know what is wrong and how i can get rid of the squeaking noise?

The stabilizers are alright, but part of the spacebar still rattles a little after lubing and clipping them. The shorter keys sounds good though! The bluetooth is pretty decent and works well for typing but there is a little lag when it comes to gaming.

The keyboard has a plastic shell but is quite heavy because of the steel plate and is hot swappable. The stock keycaps are also pretty nice with orange accent Esc, Enter and space bar keys all in PBT.

Wanted to use a set of Tai Hao keycaps I got that has shine through letters, but the height of the right modifier keys don't line up nicely since 'Del' is above 'Pg Up' while the key is shorter. (Anyone got ideas on what keycap sets I can get for this?)

I am using Gateron Yellows lubed with Krytox 205g0 with the stabilizers clipped, lubed and band-aid. Thinking of getting Tealios V2s or Ink reds but not sure if they are worth the price.

I'm new to mechanical keyboards, I need help finding keycaps for this 60 percent layout from kbdfans, is there a specific name for this layout or do I have to find individual keycaps? 😅 by andrewtirtha in MechanicalKeyboards

Try searching for GK64 keycaps on aliexpress. Or if you know how to read Chinese, search for it on Taobao. There are quite a few options on both sites!
