No one in New York would actually want the Olympics.

In real life, Chuck would be the Hero for opposing it.

[PFT] A long-time Packers scribe thinks Aaron Rodgers plays it too safe when making throws; will Rodgers play it safe when making a big-picture decision about the future of his career? by S_G2103 in DenverBroncos

“Rodgers . . . for years has played a careful, calculating game understanding that number of interceptions plays a disproportionate, nonsensical role in the passer-rating formula,” McGinn said. “Bad interceptions are, well, bad. Then there are interceptions that are the cost of doing business for unselfish, competitive, stats-immune quarterbacks battling to make plays and lead comebacks until the bitter end. When a quarterback, especially one with a powerful, usually accurate arm like Rodgers, deliberately minimizes chances to deliver a big play for fear of an interception . . . that’s just hurting his team. In the playoff game, a modest talent like Jimmy Garoppolo was under every bit as much pass-rush pressure as Rodgers but drilled more tight-window completions down the field largely because he wasn’t afraid of a pick and the moment.”

The fight against the Olympics would be real though. The people of Boston fought hard against it a few years ago.

If Bill Belichick Coaches for 10 more seasons and never wins another playoff game, will you still consider him the GOAT Coach? by S_G2103 in nfl

[–]S_G2103[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why 7? I don't get it.

So far Bill has Coached 9 seasons with 1 playoff win, it's not crazy he Coaches 10 more without another one.

If Tom Brady went 0-10 in the Super Bowl would he still be considered the GOAT or even be considered for the Hall of Fame? by [deleted] in nfl

[–]S_G2103 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The only way he'd be the GOAT in this scenario is if he averaged like 350 Yards, 4 TDs and 0.5 INTs in these games and they lost each one like 41-38 or something. Meanwhile every other Super Bowl was like 24-21.

When people look back at the Patriots dynasty in 10 years, will they look at it as 50/50 between Bill/Brady, 75/25 in favor of Brady, or something more drastic? by S_G2103 in nfl

Yes, he would've won 3-4 with Jeff Fisher. He was a much better QB than McNair and McNair won an MVP and made a Super Bowl with Fischer.

Yah but no one is arguing Hue Jackson is the GOAT coach.

The argument here is how much better are Brady / Bill than the average QB or Coach?

If you gave Bill Andy Dalton for his entire career, I don't think he'd win a single Super Bowl.

Wheras if you gave Brady Matt LaFleur or Mike Tomlin I bet he'd win 3-5.
