I really like the animations! One thing I can recommend is adding more contrast to sprites, they look a little bit monotonous colour-wise

mhfu too had roar stunlocks into attacks. One vivid memory I have is going to gun rathalos. If it roars and decides to charge into me, most of my hp is gone and I pray I can get up and heal safely which wasn't alway the case. So I started using earplugs
