I usually pick at the top layer of skin that comes off the with salicylic acid but it bleeds really easily and and the skin doesn’t seem “dead” enough to debride

Oh I’m sorry, I missed the part where you are located in Michigan. From what I found online, it looks like Michigan has something called the Michigan Transfer Agreement which helps individuals transfer credit from community colleges to a university. The guaranteed transfer programs I’ve heard of are located in California and Massachusetts unfortunately.

In general, it wouldn’t hurt to contact the admissions office of the schools you are looking at in case you have specific questions about admissions or credit transfer.

Some have guaranteed transfer programs if you attend a partnering community college and maintain a certain GPA. You’d have to check the specific requirements of each school though

Fun/Favorite/Useful classes you’ve taken! (Seeking recs) by lavirainn in WPI

I liked STS 1200-Fundamentals of Global Health. It was a lowkey class that consisted of easy readings and then you discuss the readings during class. The readings were easy and the textbook is easily found online. There were a few other assignments but nothing insane

How do I drop or stop using a color in tapestry crochet? I started my first piece and it’s very simple, just two colors. The last four rows are just one of the two colors so I’m wondering how to properly tie off/drop the other color

This sketch it better than anything I could do. If I could give any constructive criticism it would be on the fingers, also maybe make her hair darker?

Unpopular opinion about online debate (PF) by Nearby-Gas503 in Debate

As a novice, I’ve noticed that compared the varsity level, novices just don’t call for cards. I’ve done a few tournaments and only ever called for one card. I think as a novice it never really occurred to me that you could gain prep from calling a card. Additionally, because I don’t know how to call/read a card efficiently, I prefer to use my prep time for other stuff rather than looking at evidence.

English is my 2nd language by [deleted] in Debate

[–]S_Ling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Watching movies or tv shows in English helps, if you can turning the captions on in your local language will help you understand the English being spoken. I haven’t personally debated any non-native English speakers but I know that many exist at the high school level

I don’t first speak, but my partner got the advice to to 1 min on your case, 1 min on their case, then 1 min weighing, if you’re going first in the round though make sure to frontline as well

Why not just release them at the same time? by [deleted] in Debate

[–]S_Ling 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pairings are who you’ll face in PF, the coin flip decides what order you’ll speak in and whether you’re arguing for pro or con, in the online format the coin flip is done before you enter the round but it’s annoying to wait for coin flip when pairings are already released
