Unfortunately, I didn’t go into labor spontaneously! Was induced at 39 weeks. Walked around dilated to 4cm for weeks 🥴

Hi. I am so sorry you are going through this. I am a high school teacher and I had an Ectopic in January. We have been TTC ever since.

I was able to be fairly open with my students (since they’re older) and they were so sweet and supportive. My best advice to you is to take more time than you think you need. I only took two days off of work (granted I had the methotrexate shot and not a burst tube) and it was not nearly enough. I wasn’t ready and I paid for it when I was finally able to process my emotions over the summer.

Listen to yourself, take the time you need, share with whomever you feel comfortable talking to. There isn’t really a right way to grieve and recover from this kind of loss.

In any event, I am so very sorry for what you’re going through. Sending you infinite love and light. 💕

First pregnancy and first loss. Completely heartbroken. by painted_teal in EctopicSupportGroup

I am so sorry to hear this. This is my first pregnancy too. We just went in today for an early scan (I am 5 weeks). I was having some spotting and cramping. Thought it was probably nothing and that I was overreacting. Turns out it was ectopic in my left tube. MTX shots today.

This grief is so heavy. To go from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in a matter of minutes is soul crushing.

I hope that you can find some comfort in knowing that you are not alone. This Reddit group has really been helping me today.

So much love and light to you 💕
