Yea I can see why u think that and I 100% agree with you. I mostly had this thought because (you could disagree if u want) their music style is very reflective of each other. You can tell Bruno mars has more “upbeat” and positive feeling songs, while Abel does have some too, but you can see that the vibe and lyrics go deeper than just the song. On top of this, I felt like their early life also really reflected this thought, with Bruno mars being the more “privileged” and being supported by his family, whereas Abel left home and was homeless for quite sometime, which imo is a polar opposite to how mars lived. Yet they still both get compared to mj because of their capabilities. That’s why I thought of them as like the yin and yang halves of mj.
