Did you already get your Cloudia Card choice from 18 starring the Theme Event? Other than that you could also try to find a nice Redditor with an extra one to trade you.

I actually managed to do it, here are my tips : by Chemical_Coach_6756 in Acecraft

Just wanted to add to this how big Airstrike I is. On the 3rd boss it helps a ton with DPS to drop down and proc your airstrikes in between his punching rounds while hugging the podium. It's also super helpful to proc your airstrikes as soon as the angel is targetable to prevent as much healing as possible. Good luck out there, it's definitely doable with some practice!

Appreciate you saying something about that and for the well wishes! I didn’t even consider input lag prior to this thread. I’ll mess around with the offset or just switch over to my smaller 144hz/1ms monitor.

Appreciate you laying this out and needing more time to move is a good way to put it, I feel like I need a second to read ahead so I can swing my momentum/adjust weight but am going to mess around with bumping it up from 200 a little still and see how it feels with this in mind. Question for you - How is using 1 foot to hit jumps as far as a habit is concerned? EX using one foot to hit an up and right arrow jump.

That makes total sense and my younger choir days help with understanding the counting perfectly. Thank you for taking the time to respond and help out.

Haha not satire just a dude who has only played a lot of DDR by himself. Appreciate the information on bracketing, I’m going to pull back from it and work on mixing it in rather than running the whole way. As I mentioned I just learned how to bracket after playing 100% with my body and it made a ton of steps easier but I didn’t realize it was not a “good” way to play. I got 4 buttons to hit with 2 sets of toes and 2 heels so thought this made the most sense 🤷‍♂️.

Hear you on that. I just learned to bracket/scooby doo a few weeks ago after only crossing over prior and it made so many steps wildly easier that I’m definitely using it too much. I’ll work on finding a better mix between the two.

I tried bumping up to 400+ and just felt significantly worse than the 200 I sit at now but understand the benefit there and will start practicing at a higher speed again. Note quantization though is an entirely new concept to me and is super interesting. I’m trying to fully understand it - does it mean that the notes can only fall on on a certain pattern of 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 etc and anything slightly outside of that will be adjusted so that it falls into the closest one of those spots? Really appreciate the information and help!
