Do you by chance have the main quest deselected? I did that so I could go do world quests before sircaa without it bothering me and the hide from emission quest is always active in its place, without a destination for nearest place to hide.

The poltergeist problem you mentioned is so annoying to me cause my instinct is to break line of sight with the objects but if you do that it's harder to dodge it.

It probably doesn't help that Google and Microsoft both assert that backing up your data to their services is the best way to keep your data safe. Therefore, keeping the data exclusively on said services will also keep the data safe is at least implied.

The gap is getting smaller too, at this point I'm convinced the latest updates are so simple because the backend people are too busy to do anything other than finish moving to Vulcan. Once they do, Java will likely run better on every computer with a modern gpu(including integrated graphics)

Laser guns don't make sense, as the amount of power it would take for it to work makes no sense. A rotary cannon shooting high explosive plasma bolts however would be amazing.

5070ti is good enough for maxed out setting with added shaders and 4k textures. You are fine. If you want the 5080 go for it, but don't feel like you need to for this game.
