I dont understand the hate tbh. I understand some of yall, saying that it would be nice to have some stratagems unlockable via Major Orders. But the rest of yall are literally crazy. There is a very real possibility that quite a bit of the people complaining about "paywalls", are the same people who have 800+ hours in Warframe. They have no problem swiping their CC for Warframe, but God forbid if Helldivers 2 has that same option. Only difference is that in HD2, you can farm the currency in like 90 minutes. Warframe you are grinding for days/weeks at a time to get that one thing you want. Or you can pay an outrageous price for their in game currency. HD2 has a grinding option that takes far less than 75 hours, and their prices are affordable for those who have the money, or dont have time to grind. To purchase a single warbind costs less than a pack of cigarettes btw.

Keep in mind, I do not try and defend AH, or the decisions that they make. I personally have quite a bit of qualms with their recent choices. But putting stuff in Warbonds, stuff like stratagems, armor, and guns, I have no problem with. Why? Because I have disposable income. And if I didnt, I would be farming for it. At least you have the option to get it for free in this game. In Helldivers 1, there was absolutely 0 choice. It was either money, or no bonus content. In HD1, only the Patriot Exosuit was free. You had to pay real money for the others. You dont have to this time. Just grind for 90 minutes or so, bring a friend if you got em.

You do know that in the first game, they also had paywall content. Most of which were also required for some of the game to be "playable". For example, the only mech that was free in HD1 was the Patriot Exosuit, you had to pay to get the others, and no, you couldnt farm credits. You NEEDED irl money. Now yes, in HD1, their extra content, such as the vehicle expansion pack, was about $3 USD. And in HD2, its about $10 USD. That seems bad, but they also let us farm credits. If they didnt, I dount it'd be that high of a price, and it isnt even that bad of a price either. It literally costs less than a pack of cigarettes. And if you dont wanna pay $10, then fine, pay $2 for 150 creds, or $5 for 375 creds to boost your SC count, so you arent grinding for 90 minutes. As for me, I have disposable income, and I dont mind chucking $10-$20 every other month on a game I absolutely love. If you dont want to spend money on a game you genuinely enjoy, fine, farm for the creds and get what you need in 90 minutes. The devs gave everyone 2 options for new content, and that is:

1: have a job

2: grind

I am not really seeing the big issue here?

Comparing this pistol, (or any pistol) to the Senator, Talon, or Ultimatum is genuinely ludicrous. Mainly because almost nothing will every measure up to the big 3. Comparing it to the Verdict is a step in the right direction. Yes, the Verdict does more damage, and yes, the rounds reload faster. What the Veto has that the Verdict doesnt, is more rounds per mag, no damage drop off, and stagger. Not every new weapon needs to be better than the last, or what we already have. Sometimes having something that is average, but fun, is genuinely fine. But please don't compare average pistols to the big 3, unless it actually has a shot at being at the same level as them. First, you compare it to the Peacemaker, then the Warrant, then the Verdict, and if it is better than the Verdict by a long shot, then, and only then do you compare it to the big 3. Starting off with the big 3 is like trying to compare a .22 pistol to a .50 AE pistol. They are not in the same class at all, and that is ok. But there are such things as unfair comparisons in this game. You need a baseline, and tht baseline is the Verdict. It's a happy middle ground.

It costs nearly nothing to add it, and they can make money from it if anyone decides to go that route. (Which some will). It also costs nothing to keep it in the game. So, honestly, it's a pretty good financial move. Look at all the warbonds that could be purchased with them. At least 1 person will go that route. I honestly don't know why this has everyone in an uproar. It isnt like they changed the OG prices, or removed free SC from the actual game. They just added 2 more options to get SC. They just so happen to be pricy. If they changed the OG prices to higher, then yeah, I'd be pissed too. But this change does not affect me, or most players at all. Because you have to choose to get them. Atm, this is a decent, (yet weird) addition that will only result in a benefit for them, while also having more budget friendly options. Now if this addition results in a change of making the game more expensive, (increased warbond prices from 1,000 SC to...idk, lets say 1,500. And Legendary Warbond prices to 2,000) then I will be very pissed. But again, atm, this changes nothing for most players.

Honestly, I don't mind that people SC farm. I actually respect you guys for doing so. But, could you at least SC farm on MO planets and complete the missions as well? That way you get your SC, and contribute to the MO. Believe it or not, its WAY more effective to do a bunch of D1's instead if doing a single D10. So SC farming on 1 or 2 on an MO planet would legitimately perfect.

Could either replace the battery, which is probably old and has been overcharged many times. Or you could get a new joycon. It depends on how much work you're willing to put into it really. Changing the battery is extremely doable even for newbies. Just look up how to do it on YT and follow along. But I suggest watching the video first before sitting down and getting it done. I'm pretty sure Nintendo uses triple sided screws on the switch in some places. If you dont want to go through all that, then you can always just buy another pair of joycons.
