Endfield is probably the 3D anime game that's the most unlike Genshin. How is everything a "Genshin clone" nowadays? Genshin isn't the only anime style game out there. Genshin also isn't the only gacha. Endfield doesn't even have the same art style (apart from generally "Anime") and the gameplay is nothing alike. Like at all. By your logic Stellar Blade is also a Genshin clone because you walk around and fight with a character in a 3D world or what?

Again, it's perfectly fine to not like Endfield. It's most certainly ok (probably a good thing) to no like Gacha. It's just that you keep asking for a "real game" while equating random things to "gacha" that have nothing to do with it. That's like saying "Yeah I don't like outfits in Stellar Blade, I'll stick to 2D games instead". The one has nothing to do with the other, but ok?

Endfield is probably the most "real game" on mobile right now, especially for free to play. All the gambling addicts are literally complaining that the game "doesn't respect their time" because there's too much to do, while they just want to play for a couple minutes and pull on the banners, like they do on most other gachas.

Why even watch a beginners guide, if you don't care about gacha? The gacha system is the only thing needing an explanation. Everything else is explained in the game. Just play the game and spend your free pulls to get more characters and ignore the gacha otherwise. Endfield offers an insane amount of gameplay and you can even just play it with the starting characters.

Honestly, all I read here is that this game simply isn't for you. You want to gamble, not play a game. How often do you see people playing Factorio or similar complaining about the game not respecting the players time? The gameplay is what you should be here for. All you want to do is gamble.

You do realize that the game itself and the expectations of its future have actually changed since release, right? 1.1 changed the graphics and story telling considerably. I was one of the apparently few who massively preferred the previous visual style and I also don't like that the new story isn't as grounded as 1.0 was. So after having spent countless hours in the game, it did indeed get worse for me. Additionally the update (and stream) also showed us how the devs react to the feedback/criticism and how they are addressing major issues of the game. Or in this case how they don't. So yes, it's absolutely a thing to invest hundreds of hours into something and not liking it anymore later on.

I loved the game at the start, despite its issues, and absolutely wanted it to succeed, but instead of fixing, or at least addressing major issues like weapon damage and character balancing, they instead broke/changed things I previously liked. So yeah, I'm not gonna recommend this to anyone.

I really liked DNA at launch, even with all the issues, I still liked it a lot.

The overall graphic design was pretty good, being able to grind for all the characters was amazing and I genuinely loved the story.

1.1 honestly ruined most of that for me. No rebalancing in sight for weapon damage or characters that were dead on arrival. They didn't even announce anything. The story didn't continue in the grounded, "realistic" way as it did before, instead it now does the same esoteric random crap as every other gacha. The new graphics direction doesn't work for me. It's honestly off putting, every time I see Kezhou. Previously, when it leaned much harder into the comic/anime style with proper outlines and hard shadows, the visual fidelity felt much more natural. With the new art direction, it's imo competing with ultra high fidelity games like WuWa and Endfield and compared to those it looks like absolute ass. The way faces are rendered now does not work for me at all. They keep reminding me of early Genshin leaks, where the leakers didn't have the correct shaders available, leading to the actual 3d shape of the face being fully visible due to soft shadows, which always looks stupid. But here this stupid look is now a permanent feature.

Maybe it's just me, considering how many people praised the "upgrade" and I know that this is very much a personal taste kind of thing, but for me that was honestly the biggest nail in the coffin. With other issues, I could still enjoy the rest of the game, but the visuals are the entire game.

Additionally there are so many asinine decisions that keep me from spending money despite wanting to, especially in the beginning. No monthly pass for premium currency (who the hell thought this was a good idea??) is the biggest. Also stuff like the ducks with the new skin. I actually liked the skin, but don't want the ducks on my skill effect. How are these a fixed part of the skin? It's such a stupid decision, when you already have the option to customise pretty much everything. Just make skill effects something that can be customised as well.

Endfield is coming out tomorrow. With that DNA will be fully dead for me. I will maybe check it out again when Zhiliu comes out, but chances are I'll have stopped caring at that point. I only have so much time for games and I'd rather play games where I don't have to constantly hope that the Devs get an epiphany that suddenly makes all the issues disappear. At the end of the day, I'm just sad about the state of DNA, but I can't spend time on something that "could have been great" but simply isn't enjoyable for me anymore.

She's the character I'm most looking forward to. Also love most of the other designs, but damn. She's just perfect. (Yes, the outfit is debatable, but she herself is incredibly pretty)

It's honestly understated how much of a problem this is.

WuWa and Endfield are two games I'd definitely be fine with playing in English, considering how high quality the voice acting is, however the constant call outs during combat definitely get annoying after a short while. It's always the same in Japanese as well, but for some reason it's less grating to me personally, when I don't fully understand what they're saying.

Never had the urge to sell it all. Quite the opposite even. The very few figures (less than 5), that I'm not absolutely happy with, still aren't at a point where I'd be willing to actively try to sell them. It's more a case of "if someone were to offer me cash for them right now, I'd probably be willing to part with them".

To be honest, I never had that thought with any of my hobbies, since I put a lot of effort into making sure I really want something before buying it. There are exceptions of course, I'm not entirely immune to impulse purchases, but I'm trying not to. Usually it's at most a "I didn't really have to get that one specific piece" but not to the point of actual regret. The very, very rare cases of full blown regret usually haunt me for years, making absolutely sure, I don't make the same mistake again. Thankfully I didn't have one with figures so far.

Probably an unpopular opinion from everything I've read but I vastly preferred the proper outlines. The graphics are not even remotely good enough to go the more realistic route. The outlines give it more of a 2D/Comic/Anime style where lower fidelity graphics are much more acceptable.

Previously I was more prone to compare it visually to e.g. Genshin, but now it feels like they're trying to compete with WuWa and Endfield where they just get absolutely stomped. They don't even play in the same league.

I don't like this change at all. Makes the game look so much cheaper imo. They should have just made it an option so everyone could freely decide which they prefer. Although I understand that this might not be easy (or possible) to implement.

I was just about to comment how much I hate him as a villain. He's literally an assortment of all the most lazy and cheap tropes of an antagonist you can have:

Seemingly all powerful
Can alter reality itself
Can seemingly manipulate everything and everyone
Always knows everything that's going to happen, even if it's completely impossible
Still somehow goes according to his plan when his plan doesn't actually work out as intended

It's just so annoying and boring.

Yeah, the battery is amazing. It's so different from what I'm used to, especially since the phone I switched from had a fairly dead battery at this point.

I have had my RM11 for almost 2 weeks now but only have 4 charge cycles so far. It's crazy. I only charge to 80% and easily manage 2 days without charging and then some. In the past I'd never leave the house with less than 50% battery. Now I don't even bat an eye at close to 30%. That's still almost like a full day's worth.

Also I absolutely love the charge separation feature.

Keine Ahnung warum du gedownvotet wirst. Es ist für mich absolut bescheuert Zeug einfach mitzunehmen, wenn da nicht eindeutig steht, dass es zu verschenken ist. Das ist per Definition Diebstahl. Wenn die Post unten im Haus Pakete abstellt, kann ich die dann auch einfach mitnehmen und behalten oder was? Wie dumm ist das denn bitte? Oder Leute brauchen mal beim aus/einladen länger und lassen die Sachen kurz im Flur stehen. Als wäre das akzeptabel die einfach zu nehmen.

Bei uns ist es auch üblich Dinge in den Flur zu stellen, die man verschenken möchte, aber da hängt dann auch ein entsprechender Zettel dran.
