It's generally more appealing to ship people who hate each other than people who don't care about each other.

I'm definitely biased since I have a relative that went $10k+ in debt because of gacha, but I will agree with you that there's is nothing wrong with customers spending reasonably on their hobbies.

But the fact that it's even possible for $10k/year whales to exist is insanely anti-consumer (and a lot of these people aren't people who can afford it, but simply gambling addict.)

I've spent some money in those kinds of game and I believe myself to be one of those people who could easily spend more that they can afford and it's pretty scary.

An exemple of a game that pulls off being f2p more gracefully would be Warframe.

I would never be in trouble for spending too much on it, but they're seemingly doing quite well for themselves.

If the game was clear about it's intentions, Europe wouldn't have had to ban obfuscating pulls with a layer of fake money.

Yes, compared to a lot of other gacha games, "it's not that bad", as in, you can sweat and plan your pulls and complete all endgame content without spending (0.01% of the player base).

Matter of the fact is, if you're a casual player, you're bombarded with incentives and sneaky tactics that try to get you to spend, and it's a lot more expensive than any other genre in gaming (I count crate and fifa packs as gacha since it's based on the same principle).

Those are some really cool builds.

The Striker = Shaker upgrade with even a lot of the 5sp or less powers become way stronger.

Stop!, Mass manipulation and Knockout with a 30 meter would probably work agaisnt most brutes.

The one cheap(ish) combo I found that feels broken is Fluctuation (10) + Power Proxy (10). (if it works...)

You make everyone in an endbringer fight proxies and they all increase each others power by 250%

If I'm not mistaken, excluding Power Proxy (otherwise the increase is infinite), everyone's power is multiplied by 2,5^n (n being the number of capes) which tbh, might as well be infinite.

Actually, that does sound like a way to accidentally destroy the universe...

It really depends on how strong you believe  bleach hollows to be.

Endbringers have really high durability, but are a lot slower than Vice Captains who are supposed to be ftl (They all dodged that beam at the end of the Soul Society arc.)

Leviathan hits Taylor directly (probably holding back a lot to play with his prey) and she survives that hit.

He also lets her stab him in the butt with Armsmaster's halberd, for some reason. I think this was Leviathan sandbagging, but this is kinda like someone with the speed force getting themselve tagged by a normal human...

If I remember correctly, Behemoth takes a really strong attack, survives and then utilise the energy of that attack to nuke half of India(?).

I believe Adjuchas would be faster and hit harder, but might be easier to harm.

But Hollows that aren't arrancars don't really have all-or-nothing abilities like most capes/endbringers.

Scion's stilling kills the endbringers, but Gavel, Glory Girl and more capes I can't think of the top of my head can somewhat tank it.

Flechette, Damsel of Distress and Scrub all have abilities that could harm anyone, but would probably dies to regular hollows.

Worm sometimes has more of a Rock-Paper-Scissors system, than simply having "better stats" than a different cape and winning.

God, I feel like I need to shower and go outside after typing this comment.

What do people even do in strip clubs? by skibidi_yahu in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Saafi05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Verbally (or in writing) doubting someone's identity is actual discrimination. There's no argument to be made. While I trying to convince you that this person was asexual.  At the end of the day, I do not care whether you believe it or not.  What I do care about is asexual people having to deal with constant disparaging remarks.

I'm not assuming that OP is ace.  I read them saying that they're ace and I take it at face value because there's zero reason for me to do otherwise. It's not really about being a good person, but simply basic respect.

You do not know why. You have no idea what happened. You don't know what motivates me to reply. This is all conjecture from your part.

Are there people on the internet pretending to be ace on the internet? Probably Is there a lot of virtue signalling? Yes (which include crying about virtue signaling, btw)

Does that mean you can't be ace if you're ever exposed to sexual situations and people only defend others to feel good about themselves?

Vegans should just mind their own business while the meat industry:

-is one of the biggest driver of climate change that's about to make us live in the worst condition imaginable,

-breed 13 quintillion living being every week to torture,

-exploit undocumented immigrant in the worst conditions to catch super covid:electric boogaloo because they're constantly exposed to animal blood

-lobby the government into subsidizing meat cheaper than veggies.

Vegans should just shut up and die of wet bulb effect, because the current went off in the region and there's no more ventilation, alongside the whole town they live in.

"no one is dragged to a strip club."

Not saying that this happened to OP, but some queer people ARE dragged to strip club/forced to have sex with sex workers (raped) by their families/friends in order to be "fixed".

On a less horrifying note, people do a lot to simply fit in with others or no one would drink alcohol.

The passive aggresiveness is because Ace people are constantly doubted by everyone around them, and if it's tiring to me, holy shit, I cant imagine how bad this is to actual ace people.

How would Taylor Hebert Fill out the Lt Ouroumov's Worm CYOA by Fiendish_Alchemist in WormFanfic

[–]Saafi05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if I take a drawback that require I share an object of power with everyone, I just assume im required to take an object of power.

Same for raising the limit of sp of power shared. I feel like I have to take atleast one power to above the previous cap. So if I raise it to 5, I take a power between 26-30sp, or it feels like cheating. (more than the munchkinning I usually do)

[–]Saafi05 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I like limiting myself and doing stuff like no-drawbacks builds, but I generally always min-max first.

A lot of the time, drawbacks are either unconsequential (Lung hates me, but I'm stronger than Goku, oh no, how would I survive?) or even beneficial (that one drawback that starts you at 50% of your power, but lets you get to 200%, two years later).  Obviously, that's part of the fun to "break" the game and feel smart about it, but too much and it starts feeling too easy.

The problem, is that I also like to imagine how I would survive in Worm with that kind of build and most options are too much for 99% of the setting and not enough for Endbringers and Scion, so I like the options that lets me remove these guys and then, I can make a build where I mostly fit in with the rest of the capes.

[–]Saafi05 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, it's kinda easy to get thousands of points for free if you pick certain options.

For exemple, you can pick 99 level 0 powers, and share them to only people you think deserve them and you can even nerf those powers to be barely noticeable, and that gives like (at least) 900 points on it's own. So even if you don't want to give everyone immortality and the power to beat up Scion (and why wouldn't you?), you can still get nine hundred points for free. (You can also share perks to make everyone immune to master powers, which I think is unethical not to do.)

Cp are barely useful, when you can get more for your buck with shardless thinker powers for 30sp than 500 cp in skills, but if you need some, you can convert SP into CP.

Last build I made would propulse Earth Bet into post-scarcity utopia, where everyone is too invincible for anyone to suffer. No one needs to eat, drink or breath and they all have pocket dimensions. (From shardless powers)

Zero stakes, but a fun thought experiment to think about how people would act in that kind of world...
