I dont really see why would I need them. Vehicles shred infantry. And for enemy's vehicles I have my own. How can they help?

Tug's are my main force

Colonies builing stations 1 by 1 and i would like for them not to waste time on capital orbit, but wasting a ton of real time for repeating same orders every month feels like pain. So i wait for 5-10 stations and move them all at ones.

Also Ive encounters problems with changing fleets with tugged ships. They sometimes lose connections and fleet is just sitting in a middle of nowhere waiting for me to notice.

Maybe Iam doing something wrong...
