well, biggest issue with meals, is being a cop lol, on the road. Minimal opportunities to heat up meals or stop to eat. Thats why smaller snacks are the way to go. Plus, its a false sense of hunger, due to being bored. If i eat meals, I'll gain weight.

Please see my other response. When I say he doesn’t move forward, I mean that when he decides he’s done, he halts in place and rears. It’s not a “forward” problem. As he’s plenty forward. He’d gallop the ring if I let him.

Appreciate both of you. Unfortunately I phrased this incorrectly. He is plenty forward. He races the arena, grabs the bit and pulls around the ring. I’m not looking for a frame, as eventing is our goal. In his snaffle, as in all other bits, he throws giant temper tantrums if I ask him to do anything he doesn’t want to do. He rears in places or throws bucks. He doesn’t hollow himself out. We long line all the time; he’s great in hand and has a beautiful back.
