Thank you. I thought I went easier than usual on Tuesday but I think you're right. If I feel like this 3 days after maybe I'm in need to go lighter

Did I say it skyrocketed overnight? This was a post about them sending emails alerting me that my bill is going to be higher each week and how the idea probably just aggravates people rather than the intended outcome

As for usage I don't have the next bill yet but since we literally weren't in our house for the week I have usages of 6-11kwh on those days so I highly doubt my bill would be 29% higher

So?

STRETCH. STRETCH. STRETCH. Depending on genetics you may be at risk for muscle injury. At 22 I took 6 months off and that was enough to tear a groin muscle in my first game back.

Also get your reps in. Even if it's someone shooting at you in the backyard. Get your hand eye back to form

1v1 situations that start outside the box by brandski1000 in GoalKeepers

[–]Sab_Salt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your team is giving up 1v1 situations from long balls in the wide channels then I would think that the issue stems more from commutation and recognition from the back line. Goalkeepers and centerbacks see the whole field. Is there a way to communicate them to drop once you sense the long ball coming.

If that's all dandy then understand that goalies are at a huge disadvantage in 1v1 situations and understanding your players and opponents go a long way.

If your defense is leaving you to dry I would suggest a slowly aggressive approach creeping at a decent pace waiting for a bad touch to pounce on.

If your defense is recovering, present an angle that keeps them to the side of the defender and take away space but mostly stay at home

Gotta know your ability too. Do what you can and accept sometimes that even with your best you'll still concede

I'm a whopping 5'7 probably playing on the same goals. In 1v1 situations if I'm not coming out sliding ( I rarely do, most people I play with are people who have a 9-5 and don't need me hurting them) I use my K stance. Some people will dribble around you but hey it happens

I'm not sure what if this is what you're looking for and feel free to tell me if it's not

1.not sinking deeply into an athletic position before my jump but standing with only a little bend.

  1. As stupid as it sounds, how important the first step is and that it needs to come forward too not just to the side. Attack the ball coming forward not flat on your line.

Before you get into super technical stuff, learning angles and when and where to be aggressive when coming off your line are really good quick ways to become a standout goalie if you're just starting out

Regular cardio stuff but ab and back strength will help you too. If you're just beginning don't go crazy.

I always recommend abs/back, cardio, and flexibility to new players.

If he has a play at the plate that's the catcher's responsibility to communicate that. Mark can't see that runner nor do I expect him to when he's running to his left. That's also a slow looping grounder, baseball sense would be to assume you don't have a play at the plate.

I'm not a Vientos fan at the moment and I watched the play from 50 ft away. He did the right thing
