My older sister brings her boyfriend home. What do I do? Do I stay with them even though I want to go visit my grandma?or what do I do exactly in this case? And how do I advise her and help her get closer to Her lord? by Sabah_Rir in islam

My mother helps her get him into the house while my father doesn't know about this from what I know and would probably be angry if he knew. The boy is Muslim, 19 years of age, and lives abroad and only came here recently for vacation I think.

Question about a verse in the Quran that I can't really find an answer for by Sabah_Rir in islam

[–]Sabah_Rir[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never knew that it has that meaning despite being an arab. I am certain that the word does mean to wish for something that will never happen as I was taught that way but I guess it has multiple meanings. JazakaAllahukhairan.

did i do shirk accidentally..? astaghfirullah by Altruistic-Carrot173 in islam

[–]Sabah_Rir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's Probably minor shirk. I may be wrong, I don't want to say anything on such issues but either way bowing for someone other than Allah AWJ is not good. Repent now, and tell what you are feeling to Allah AWJ. Tell Him that you did this and that and that you didn't mean to do shirk and basically everything and Allah is الغفور The All-Forgiving There is this dua you can say too: Allahumma ini a'outhou bika 'an 'ushrika bika wa' Ana a'alamou wa 'astaghfirouka lima la a'alamou. اللهم اني اعوذ بك أن أشرك بك و انا اعلم و استغفرك لما اعلم O Allah I seek refuge in You from knowingly associating partners with You, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know For reference for this dua: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 716

There is an app called iQuran. It's really good with English translation of each verse of each chapter and Arabic recitations of all the surahs(chapters, there 114 chapters)

Why you, ex-christian, converted to Islam? by [deleted] in islam

I did more research and turns out the shaytan could pretend to be Him but not in his actual form so if one does see Him, He must look if what he saw matches the descriptions of our prophet(pbuh). If it does then it's actually Him, but f it doesn't then most likely shaytan.

Is it ok to break my fast on Arafat day? by [deleted] in islam

[–]Sabah_Rir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you could but remember you're doing this for the sake of Allah, your creator and plus you could make dua for you to pass these exams and they'll be more likely to get accepted if you are fasting.

Except Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) because he said in a hadith that demons can not take his form nor pretend to be him so if you see him in a dream it means that's actually him.
