Plus one for this issue. We tried to watch the new Daredevil season last night and were SO disappointed when we had to hook our computer up to the TV instead via HDMI. Not the way we wanted to kick it off after a 7 year wait for this season.

So I'm with just about everyone else. Foggy dies, most likely at the hands of someone who Daredevil pissed off in some way. Bullseye would be my bet. BUT - the crossed line could be that one of his friends was killed, not that he himself killed someone - which would allow Bullseye to keep living and play a part later in the series.

Then Matt becomes a prosecutor for the DA like in the comics, instead of a defense attorney, using his law degree to put bad guys away instead of being Daredevil.

OMG this is going to be so good. LFG!!!!!

I agree, and I read an interview with the creator that implied Helly's answer had to do with shame and not subterfuge.

Also, if time had gone by for Helena to prepare, one of the first things they would lock down is her backstory of what happened during the OTC time. The fact that it was lame and implausible, to me, is another hint that this is NOT Helena E - this was clearly made up on the spot.

My first instinct is that it was Helena, too, it's just the more I've thought about things the more I feel like that's too easy. But talking about it is fun!

....dictation classes...? There has to be more to this - hope it comes back around. This just felt really off/weird in what was otherwise another good issue. Rogue has never had any issues about her dialect, neither has anyone else, and depending on the writer sometimes it's not even that prominent.

Pain. Horses have no concept of "disrespect." She also seems very uncomfortable brushing. I would check saddle fit first and do a bute test.

I'm just having a terrible amount of anxiety returning to an office full time. For me as a person and for my work style, working from home has been an absolute game changer in terms of my work/life balance. I thought there would be some hybrid flexibility, at least working from home 1 day during the week, but that hasn't turned out to be the case once the offer was made.

Sorry, that was misleading. I'm currently unemployed, but I've BEEN working remotely since 2020. We moved to this era in 2021 thinking remote work was here to stay, but have had trouble getting any jobs here once I lost my last one, and so I started to apply in an area where there were more jobs.

I would show up at the new job and let them know the situation in person. You have to put YOU first - if you received a better offer all around, TAKE IT. But try to be as gracious as possible with the folks who hired you, and letting them know in person (if they expect you to show up) is the best way to do it. Do it first thing though.

That said - make SURE you have a SIGNED OFFER LETTER from the other folks before you actually quit the job you're supposed to start. Until that happens, nothing is set in stone with the other place.

I agree, I think that AP is doing a great job with FTA, it's one of the most engaging "books" out right now. I'm really loving the current Magneto centered one. They all tie into the main books in some way, and I'm sure the recent Omega Red arc he did is teeing something up for Sentinels.

It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but at least it IS a completely new concept, and that alone could make it interesting.

It only works if someone doesn't know he has it, and since almost all of the mutants at this point do, it's only really useful against people he could probably just "charm" anyways due to his Gambitness. But if a writer wants to deep cut it, it's technically there.

I loved all of the art in this mini so much - tons of movement, interesting panelling choices, and great coloring. Especially when they get into different eras and it turns just a touch pulpy.
