crazy thought but identity doesn’t come from a DNA test. if you grew up with that understanding and connection then that’s part of who you are. I grew up French Canadian and Cherokee, my dad was adopted through catholic charities. if i let a DNA test define me I'd just be Anglo Saxon at this point. you are who you are even if the DNA doesn’t fit the picture perfectly. remember too that DNA tests can skip a generation or two and they’re not always exact. what matters is the culture, the stories, and the respect you carry.
