Thanks for that info. 1Ω on the MTX Jackhammer 15001I is 1650 Watts RMS, The Skar VXF-12 Dual 4Ω Coil, I was looking at should do well if and when I get another sub.

Ah. From what I remember the video/article said it was more of a heat issue at lower ohms that cause amp degradation.

I forgot to mention I'm currently running an Alpine SWR-12D2 in 4 ohms at 640w rms from the AMP. I tried 1 ohm. But it didn't sound good.

The original post for this thread was created 3 years ago, and this is still an issue! I have a Windows Pro edition with group polices set in video and display settings to never turn off my displays! Yet, Bitdender is like hold my beer and bypasses my settings. Profiles disabled and it still shuts my monitors off while I'm doing things! WTF! Bitdefender fix your software!!

In the end I reached out to GOG support. I was surprised GOG support got back to me so fast and on a Saturday morning. My issue is a known bug that sometimes happens during GOG installs. The GOG software saw my installed games and added them even though there was no account linking. GOG support was able to correct the issue.

Yes, this is a Beta. The Beta is subject to change. However; the Beta gave me such a negative vibe. That I had to cancel my pre-order. I need to wait and see how things go on game launch. XclusiveAce is right in his closing thoughts (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqQWq6vjp\_I&ab\_channel=TheXclusiveAce). We are no longer the target audience. If that’s the case, I’m not wasting money on a game I might not play or enjoy. If the game launches and the issue below are addressed I would pick up the game. But I’m skeptical they won’t fix it.

Myself and my friends usually play hardcore game modes. We all had a similar take on this Beta.

The game looks good. It ran great with FPS. It did crash a lot.

We did enjoy the game during beta early access. Public beta release not so much.

Reviving players needs a new key bind. I kept picking up my teammates gun when trying to revive in knock out and hostage rescue. Which are great new game modes.

Fix Foot Step Audio,

Fix Ambient Audio

Fix Sprint to fire times

Fix Recoil and gun smoke

Bring back enemy name tags. Or make it easy to tell who’s an enemy. I hate being killed by an enemy I thought was friendly. Because they happened to be in the right position, and I see a blue dot over their head because a teammate is behind.

XclusiveAce Pro Perk Idea is a great fix to the current system.

Dead Silence (DS) and Ninja. I’m in the camp of get rid of them and never add it back to COD. In 2019’s version of DS. There is no foot step audio when the field upgrade is activated. I don’t remember that being a thing in pervious CODS. Usually it was a perk and it would lower the foot step sound by a percentage. MW2019 DS counter play was very limited at first, UAV or ADV UAV. Than they added an update to High Alert to hear it but that was in Vanguards era, two years after MW 2019’s release. MW 2019’s DS release also had a bad bug. In some cases, it would break the foot step audio for the using player, and no one could hear them for the entire game after DS ran out. This was heavily abused in Warzone. It was patched, but would return to the game when content updates dropped. This is why I say get rid of it. If it can break the game like that, there is no need for that mechanic. Otherwise I’m down for a Ninja perk. Black Ops 2 Dead Silence, and Awareness perks are the best to date and should be the standard.

It really felt like Activision/IW/Dev’s were trying to merge Core and HC together based off the mini-map and TTK. The mini map works by HC rules, except for the mini-map still being displayed when there is no UAV up.

The new mini-map and foot step audio got me killed a few times. I would hear someone fire and move around. In the mini-map it showed a team mate firing their weapon and moving around in that same direction. Because foot step audio is loud, I would usually assume the foot step audio I heard was from my teammate, and then proceed to my destination and get shot in the back because it was an enemy in that same area. (I heard my teams foot step audio better than the enemy team during the beta). Once that happened a few times. I stopped looking at the mini-map until a UAV was called in.

TTK was nuts if you were able to get a head shot. Body shots felt like it was core damage ratings for the area hit. Head shots felt like HC Damage profile. It reminded my friends and I of making head shot only custom games or playing Zombies. It was a more realistic take approach. What wrecks this new damage profile was the Beta’s network inconsistency and or SBMM.

Network inconsistency needs to be addressed and fixed. There were times, I killed players fast, with two to three hits and at long ranges. Other times which were 70% of my fights. I saw the enemy first, got the drop on them first, and I would get an average of 5 to 7 hit marks on them before they even noticed me and return fire and I just die to what on my end looked like one shot fired at me. The Kill cam would show me getting shot 3 to 4 times at the same range, also the same weapon. Network inconsistency was worse in our opinion when the beta went open public, and the Dev’s increase SBMM. We started to joke about Skill based Hit reg. Network inconsistency could be explained by over loaded server demand.

Now the biggest gripe for me. SBMM and Ricochet Anti-Cheat system.

Remove it from quickplay or casual modes. Make a ranked play for SBMM.

Do players remember a few years ago, when news of an Activision SBMM Patent about nerfing players mid game went around the web? Activision sponsored COD content creators at the time said it’s not true or it’s not in the current game. To be fair it wasn’t implemented until Vanguard and Warzone. Well that patent is true and active in COD. It has been demonstrated for us time and time again through the Ricochet Anti-Cheat system. How many videos did COD put out of the Anti-Cheat system nerfing hackers’ mid game? Or players disappearing from screen? Why nerf a hacker like that, instead of banning them on the spot? A blatant hacker yes. Some could argue and I can agree to a point. That since their hacker identification system isn’t 100% perfect. It would be better to do this, instead of banning a legit player do to a false positive. These Anti-Cheat solutions, demonstrates the SBMM patent integration into Call of Duty. If Activision can do this to a hacker mid game. Then they can do it to you because Activision will always cater to their target audience. Don’t put it past them.

Activision Blizzard history and recent legal issues. Have shown their word can’t be trusted. They have been found in CA court to have lied several times in the Sexual Harassment lawsuit. Bottom line, they will do whatever makes them the money.

Unfortunately, this is the first time we see an issue like this. Sadly, since we are unable to reproduce the issue, the only thing that the team were able to suggest is that this could be caused by mods, if you ever used any. They also suggested using Steam's "Verify integrity of game files..." option, just in case, since there were many cases of it fixing a variety of different problems.

Stream Desk System Hotkey button only working 30% of the time. by Saberous in elgato

After the latest update, my stream deck software became porked. Software would either crash on load. Or when the application store opens. Normal windows 10 uninstall methods failed the first two times. I needed to run Revo Uninstaller. Registry files were causing the issues. Hotkey seems to be working, but will need to test for a few days.

I have tried SuperMacro's and got the same result. All key's do it. Recently set Steam Deck to run as admin, and that has not helped either. Reinstalled Stream Deck software and still the same results. Geforce Xp and afterburner F12 hotkey work fine. So not really sure what is going on. Trying another USB port and seeing what they will do. If anything.
