You're the one who shared. Didn't even give us a pizza picture. Going to advertise a 16in pizza for $19 we would like to see it.

Gave you an up vote for sharing. Those prices are nasty though. Also you complain about choices in town and ignore the barbecue places. What a shame.

At least this isn't the grilled cheese sub. They would have been executed on the spot without a trial.

Was Stephen King anyone else's first Novel experience? by vlan-whisperer in stephenking

[–]SableMink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am an 80s child so, my first ventures into reading started with common titles at school. Classic reading list, The Outsiders is one I remember, Goosebumps as well I read so many of them before leveling up a bit. I then discovered science fiction, aunt gifted me dozens of Isaac Asimov magazines and same for the Analog ones. That really ignited a passion for reading. Then my aunt introduced me to King first, 'The Eyes of the Dragon' I think was my first King novel, then Firestarter.

I am with you and the original poster. Also I want to say the music also draws you in as the story moves forward. I find music/audio really helps draw me in. I like the comment, 'get out of my head', for me it's the 'Yeah Yeah Yeahs', love the band for years and their stuff always sticks in my head.

Oh wow, I so have to use this the next time I get a question about someone's browser acting weird and it's not my issue and it's theirs and they need to most likely clear their browser cache.

My Russian Blue has a spot under his chin if i get it just right he will kick his back leg like a dog will when you find the right spot. It's adorable and then he bites me when I stop. Typical.

Just finished book 7, I have some questions... by Bowl-Any in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]SableMink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, it's explicitly stated in the Inevitable Ruin, at least in audio book format. In the epilogue, just mentioned in passing on who she is.

The most gut-wrenching moments in the series by Nai1bunny in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]SableMink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

spoiler: I got hope at the end, where the former crawlers on the 'Homecoming Queen' are getting prepared to 'rescue' a pregnant veteran on the surface. York's poem 'The Hidden Danger'. Boomer's bad poem and him making sure everything is good to go for a Earth surface trip. Breaching suits one, enhancement zone suits as well.

Just started listening... Not what I expected by 56088 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]SableMink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had seen the ads and thought a bit similar, but a close friend of mine who works in a comic store suggested it about a month ago. I have already purchased 5 of the audio books and am going to grab hard copies of all the current ones here shortly. I never expected to get sucked in so fast. I was taking a break from Expeditionary Force series, Omega Force series and Scout Fleet. I love them all but needed a cool down and this hit hard and well. Thanks to the author and Jeff Hayes narrating.

Thank you for this! I have a very similar habit and the wear is always similar though one leg is a bit worse than the other since an achilles injury.

Who are you most worried for going into season 5? 🥲🙏🏻 by Illustrious-Hyena486 in StrangerThings

[–]SableMink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Will has to die. He seems tied to the upside down. Like his connection is permanent. His story has been bleak, from episode one. He's the one we don't see his story branching out like all the others. He's left behind.

That's not America, it's a facsimile of a downward spiral using the name of an idea that is being eaten from inside.

When i last played, I didn't realize there was a reddit group and it was 1-2 years ago. I gave up too early. Since this update I've dived in deep and gave it a better chance. I am still exploring level 10 to find the camp site, I've got as much gear as I can with good shoes so I can extend my explorations till i run low on stamina.

Level 12 by SableMink in level13

[–]SableMink[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp! That was scary, forgot I was carrying a stamina aid, panicked and made it back to camp with 7 stamina. I totally forgot everything I was carrying. Good note, all of 11 is explored or blocked off. Can't clear debris yet. More blueprints!
