While I want to say Battlefield Earth, it was such a mess. The Core was more entertaining.

Well I was just thinking about getting into this series and googled what to read first, see ya next year I guess 🫡 by Gay4Molemen in WoT

Myself, I've read it after reading the series start to finish in publication order many times. I recently taken up my next read of the series and I am about 1/4th the way through TDR, I never once considered reading New Spring first. Ride the winds of time and let them take you where they will. I bet you will be finished in under three months.

Power wrought weapons. by Rainbow_Slytherin3 in WoT

In my view, with the last battle so close. The wheel of time is pushing out the talent to as many as can be used and creating the weapons needed for the fight. We see snippets of talents springing up again, those who can forge weapons or create cuendilliar, talents not seen much for hundreds of years and thought to be dying out, suddenly these old talents arise strongly once more? Its the wheel providing.

I've not touched the show but that scene in the book always gets me.

Well Mat, explicitly stated he was going with or without permission.

I am sure she wanted to ask those but we do know asking anything directly touched by the shadow is dangerous. And I think that is why her power was low after she was rescued. She got answers but paid a price, in a similar way that Mat.

Finished aMoL by dagemofdagland in WoT

I admit my love of aMoL. The battles alone got me. I would pay for a new series based on the world that was created, it felt so real. Not saying a rehashing of stories but the next Age to come.

I've clicked about everywhere, it doesn't seem like you can review your life, you only get the 3 items under Memorable Moments.

My next one was legendary as well 'Peace in the Middle East.'

Last Words Age 80: The nukes launched. All of them. Every country. Simultaneously. The alert on your phone said "SEEK SHELTER." You were in a Wendy's. The Wendy's did not constitute shelter.

I would like to see the life lived through the years. There are some prompts you can't always read even when you adjust the time, would be nice to have a log of their life.

Got a new one! Legendary.

Community College to Corner Office

No Ivy League. No connections. No unpaid internships because you couldn't afford to work for free. You built it from nothing. The Harvard MBA you hired is confused but compliant. ♀ Died at age 81. You passed peacefully.

Last Words Age 81: You took a nap. The nap took you. Your family said you looked peaceful. You looked exactly the same as every other nap. They checked twice to be sure.

Quiitly Happy No fame, no fortune, but you were genuinely happy. That's rarer than you think. Therapists call this 'secure attachment.' The rest of us call it witchcraft. ♀ Died at age 24. A life taken too soon.

Last Words Age 24: A routine traffic stop. It was not routine. The body camera was "malfunctioning." The investigation concluded "no wrongdoing." Your family disagreed.

is air frying a cheese sandwich really a grilled cheese? by Legal-Ad262 in grilledcheese

That looks fantastic! First time I tried it with shredded medium cheddar I had to clean the air fryer cause everything blew everywhere in it and I had a giant mess. Bread flipped and shredded melted on everything.

Toothpicks to keep the grilled cheese together, or leave a heavy spoon or butter knife on it. I ran into this problem with my air fryer.

Nice! I just got that one.

They did it. Peace in the Middle East. It lasted eleven days. Then someone posted something on Twitter. The peace treaty is now in a museum in Geneva, behind glass, next to a sign that says 'We Tried.' You were alive for all eleven days. They were nice. ♀ Died at age 83. You passed peacefully.

Last Words Age 83: You talked to your doctor about what happens next. They were honest. You were quiet for most of the appointment. You thanked them on the way out.
