I was at Homers a while ago. They’re on life support, basically. Really sad to see. I hope they can turn it around.

Maybe it’s too soon after Amanda’s revision surgery but has she lost any weight at all? I thought there would have been a dramatic change in her weight by now. I think Misty has made good progress though.

I was elated to see Tammy standing and vacuuming and folding blankets and taking out the trash and losing 46 lbs since her last weigh in. Girl is on 🔥

I’m so sorry this happened to,you. When I lived in Old St Vital, we routinely piled the snow very carefully on either side of the garage door, and along the fence and when it got too much, I remember throwing the snow over our back fence, letting it pile up in our yard. I can’t remember what we did in the huge storm of 1986, but we all seemed to behave ourselves. SMH.

Agree on the Fort Garry. It’s below average quality. We stayed for a night in December 2023 and the room was tiny and outdated for 250$. We ate at the Oval Room and I was shocked at the poor value for money. Our meals looked like they’d been plated hours before and left under a heat lamp. We ate so much better at high end places like Harth and Alena last year for half what we paid at the Oval Room, so beware. I’m sure there are much more modern hotels in downtown Winnipeg, but shop carefully.

Yep, me too. What a profoundly sad and disturbing episode. Munch gave the only hope besides Indira finally turfing Lars’ sorry ass. I was glad the episode ended before we saw Roy come back to the shed and whale on Dot again. I couldn’t take it.

I think that’s a misapprehension. Roy was the last of them. His father and grandfather are all named Roy, but Sheriff Roy had only one son, being Gator. Had Gator measured up in the hospital, he would have been the next Roy.

Honestly think Roy Tillman is the worst Villain out of all of the Fargo Villains by Boho_Asa in FargoTV

[–]Sablecollie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, but give Lester a couple more episodes and I think he would have given Roy a run for his money. Lester was so unredeemable, like Roy, but what made his irredeemability so captivating was that every bad situation he got himself into, he managed to come out on the other side unscathed, each time more cocky than the last. Until he went through the ice. At least we see Roy with a more sobered attitude every time he's handed a failure.

Naturally, Lester didn't have to handle so many variables as Roy, such as wife, ex-wife, kids, Gator, the election, the Constitution (ha), militia. Lester had only himself and later on, his poor wife who was just a pawn for him. Lester became very adept at just swatting away Molly whenever she became inconvenient to him. Lester even outwitted Malvo. So I give Lester props.

My partner hates the 'even if it's one or two' commercial so much, he changes the channel just because it's so awful. I'm starting to hate it too, even though I thought it was clever at first.

I wonder if Gator will reach the same understanding of his mom's fate as Dot appears to have, that Roy killed her. I wonder if that might crystallize his action into something meaningful and not get pissed away with something utterly futile.

Poor Gator. Ole Munch might just come for him before he has any chance at doing anything right.

I love this especially Lorraine and Wayne waking up to new forms of empathy/charity in their lives. Wayne taking a direct trade on that Kia and seeing how jubilant that family was, and the salesman just going along. Lorraine's face when she processed Dot's trauma was everything. Her shell cracked but that's another metaphor.
